  • Patent number: 9861021
Abstract: A walk behind power equipment device includes a frame (or housing), an engine supported at least in part by the frame or housing, a mobility assembly operably coupled to the frame and to the engine to provide mobility of the walk behind power equipment device responsive to operation of the engine, a working assembly and a handle assembly. The working assembly is operably coupled to the frame and to the engine to facilitate performance of a working function of the walk behind power equipment device responsive to operation of the engine. The handle assembly is operably coupled to the frame via a handle coupler to provide steering inputs responsive to which the mobility assembly moves the walk behind power equipment device via a handle apparatus of the handle assembly. The handle coupler is configured to provide at least vibration isolation and handle apparatus orientation adjustment.

  • Patent number: 9763372
Abstract: A tiller includes an engine, a mobility assembly, and a rotating assembly. The mobility assembly is operably coupled to the engine to provide mobility of the tiller responsive to operation of the engine. The rotating assembly is selectively coupled to the engine to provide rotation of the rotating assembly. The rotating assembly includes a rotatable shaft configured to turn when the rotation assembly is operably coupled to the engine, and one or more sets of tines disposed on respective tine assemblies. Each of the tine assemblies includes a hollow shaft for receiving the rotatable shaft. The one or more sets of tines extend radially outward from the respective tine assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20070095549
Abstract: A side shift rake for a sand trap vehicle is connected to a prime mover having a pair of drive wheels. A beam supported from the prime mover is positionable substantially horizontal with respect to a ground surface and substantially perpendicular to a direction of travel of the prime mover. Multiple rake members are supported from the beam. A lateral translation device connected to a first one of the rake members translates all of the rake members in a direction substantially parallel to a beam longitudinal axis to both extend the rake assembly outboard of a wheel track and retract the rake assembly back to an initial position after a raking operation. The rake assembly is infinitely positionable between the initial and an extended position.

  • Patent number: 7051498
Abstract: A traction enhancement system and method of using the same for use with a turf mower having a vehicle frame, a first drive wheel operably mounted to the vehicle frame, and a cutting unit positionable in a first position, where the cutting unit is support by ground engaging rollers, and a second position, where the cutting unit is support by the vehicle frame. A traction system is then operably coupled between the cutting unit and the vehicle frame such that the traction system can modulate the cutting unit between the first position and the second position for improved traction of the first drive wheel.
