  • Patent number: 10633156
Abstract: A group lock box includes a box body and a door in which the door is shaped to have a recess that extends into an internal volume of the box body. The recess permits unique user locks that secure the door to the body to be partially received in the recess, which can make the locks not project as much from the outside of the box, thereby placing the locks closer to the center of gravity of the box. Among other things, this can make carrying the box with locks attached less unwieldy and can slim the overall profile of the group lock box with locks attached.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 18, 2018
Date of Patent: April 28, 2020
    Assignee: Brady Worldwide, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20190221380
Abstract: A lockout device for securing a circuit breaker switch is provided. The lockout device comprises an outer housing having side walls extending away from a base wall formed on one axial end of the outer housing to define a cavity. An arm is received within a portion of the outer housing. The arm received within a portion of the housing, the arm having a hook section and an engaging section positioned apart from one another to receive the circuit breaker switch therein. A spring is positioned between the base wall and the arm and biases the outer housing axially relative to the arm. A screw extends through the engaging section of the arm toward the hook, and is movable between the engaging section and the hook.

  • Patent number: 10170848
Abstract: A lockout device configured to lockout a terminal block. The lockout device includes a pair of sections rotatably coupled to one another in which each of the sections has an upper portion including a corresponding lockout opening and a lower portion for selective reception into the space of an opened terminal block. The sections are rotatable between an opened and closed position. In the opened position, the upper portions are misaligned and the lower portions are aligned to permit at least a portion of the lower portions to be inserted into an opening in an opened terminal block. In the closed position, the lockout openings of the upper portions are aligned to accommodate reception of a lock in the lockout openings to prevent movement away from the closed position and the lower portions are misaligned to prevent removal of the lower portions from the opening in the terminal block.
