  • Patent number: 9946778
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for copying data between environments in an information management system such as the copying of business data between production and test environments in a database system. The system has a relations database with a set of relations created outside the runtime environment which are derived from a first database and which provide a link between database tables in the first database. The system also has a service generator which extracts and copies database tables at runtime to form a predetermined service or product. When the service generator receives a request to copy a product or service, this is done only if the data in the database tables comprising the product or service is the subject of one or more relation in the relations database.

  • Patent number: 9317274
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for customizing a disk image. A base image is booted and the desired customizations are applied and captured using a known method. A maintenance environment is booted and a builder module incorporates the captured customizations into an integrated package. If user input is required then custom menus are also defined. A target operating system, independent of the base image, is hooked to invoke an injector module. The operating system is booted from the maintenance environment thereby invoking the injector module. The customizations from the integrated package together with any obtained from the custom menus are injected into the operating system. A customized image of the operating system is then saved, to be deployed to other computers or further customized as required.

  • Patent number: 8808776
Abstract: A produce chamber (1) is provided to subject produce in a crate (7) to a controlled atmosphere. The chamber (1) has at least one inflatable/deflatable balloon seal structure (15) for sealingly engaging with a side wall of a produce crate (7) which has at least one opening (13) in a side wall (11) thereof. The balloon seal structure (15) has at least one discharge opening (19) that aligns with the at least one crate opening (13). Crates (7) with produce therein can be loaded in the chamber (1) with the balloon seal structure (15) deflated. The balloon seal structure (15) can then be inflated and controlled atmosphere allowed to circulate through the balloon seal structure (15) and discharged from the opening (19) and through the crate opening (13) to expose the produce to a controlled atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 7913499
Abstract: A heat exchanger having a plurality of heat exchanging aluminum fins with hydrophilic condensing surfaces which are stacked and clamped between two cold plates. The cold plates are aligned radially along a plane extending through the axis of a cylindrical duct and hold the stacked and clamped portions of the heat exchanging fins along the axis of the cylindrical duct. The fins extend outwardly from the clamped portions along approximately radial planes. The spacing between fins is symmetric about the cold plates, and are somewhat more closely spaced as the angle they make with the cold plates approaches 90°. Passageways extend through the fins between vertex spaces which provide capillary storage and communicate with passageways formed in the stacked and clamped portions of the fins, which communicate with water drains connected to a pump externally to the duct. Water with no entrained air is drawn from the capillary spaces.

  • Publication number: 20100171297
Abstract: A chassis for a high mobility vehicle is disclosed. The chassis comprises a tubular transmission member extending from a foremost axle to a rearmost axle, thereby defining a transmission axis; a first structural member arranged generally parallel to the transmission axis, and attached to the transmission member; and a deflection means arranged such that, if the vehicle, in use, encounters an obstacle having a height greater than the clearance of the deflection means above the ground, the deflection means are operable in combination with the first structural member and the transmission member to cause the vehicle to overcome the object.

  • Patent number: 7730219
Abstract: A system, method, and program product is provided that passively detects the existence of wireless networks in proximity to a wireless signal detector. A determination is made as to whether the detected wireless networks are encrypted or unencrypted. For those wireless networks that are unencrypted, a restriction level that applies to the unencrypted network is identified. The user is then notified when an unencrypted and unrestricted wireless network is detected.
