  • Publication number: 20210402301
Abstract: Techniques for improving a user video game experience are described. In an example, a computer system receives event data from a plurality of user devices. Each event data includes an identifier of an activity in a video game and data indicating completion of the activity. The identifier can be predefined in program code of the video game. The identifier and completion data can be received based on an execution of the program code. The event data is processed to determine a video game mechanic suggestion to help a player complete the activity.

Abstract: Techniques for improving a graphical user interface are described. In an example, a computer system receives event data from a plurality of user devices. Each event data includes an identifier of an activity in a video game, completion data indicating completion of the activity, and location data indicating where the activity was completed in the video game. The identifier can be predefined in program code of the video game. The event data can be received based on an execution of the program code. The event data is processed to determine where the likely location for completing the activity in the video game. This likely location is shown as a graphical user interface element in a map.

  • Publication number: 20210381853
Abstract: Position sensing apparatus is provided. In one example implementation, the position sensing apparatus comprises a first member having an excitation conductive winding and a detection conductive winding formed thereon, and a second member having a resonant circuit formed thereon. An integrated circuit comprising excitation signal generation and detection signal processing circuitry is arranged to generate an alternating excitation signal at a resonant frequency of the resonant circuit and to process an alternating detection signal induced in the detection conductive winding as a result of a magnetic field generated by the alternating excitation signal flowing through the detection conductive winding, and the excitation conductive winding and the detection conductive winding are arranged so that the detection signal varies in dependence on the relative position of the first and second member.

  • Patent number: 11186463
Abstract: Techniques for implementing and/or operating a pipe deployment system that includes pipe deployment equipment, which facilitates deploying a pipe segment from a pipe coil, and a pipe drum, which includes a drum body around which the pipe coil is to be disposed. The pipe drum is to be disposed on the pipe deployment equipment and the drum body includes a drum core as well as a lower paddle assembly and an upper paddle assembly, which are slidably secured to the drum core. The pipe deployment system maintains the paddle assemblies in a retracted state to enable the drum body to be inserted into the pipe coil, extends the lower paddle assembly to a more extended state to facilitate raising the drum core, and retracts the lower paddle assembly to a less extended state and extends the upper paddle assembly to the less extended state to facilitate lifting the pipe coil.

  • Publication number: 20210216593
Abstract: A system and method for configuring an application is described. A mapping definition defines a mapping between a first level attribute, a second level attribute, and a third level attribute of the application. The first level attribute indicates a goal of an operation of the application. The second level attribute indicates a factor that contributes to the goal. The third level attribute indicating a metric associated with the factor. The system accesses metrics that measure of operations of the application by a plurality of user accounts. A graphical user interface is generated for the first level attribute and displays the metric from the third level attribute that is mapped to the second level attribute for a set of user accounts from the plurality of user accounts based on the mapping definition. The system generates a configuration setting for the application of the set of user accounts based on the metric of the third level attribute.

  • Publication number: 20210153786
Abstract: Recommendations based on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) are described. Given the number of people that wear CGM systems and because CGM systems produce measurements continuously, a platform that provides a CGM system may have an enormous amount of data. This amount of data is practically, if not actually, impossible for humans to process. In implementations, a CGM platform includes a data analytics platform that obtains glucose measurements provided by a CGM system and also obtains additional data associated with a user. The data analytics platform processes these measurements and the additional data to predict a health indicator by using models. This prediction serves as a basis for generating a recommendation, such as a message recommending the user take action or adopt a behavior to mitigate a predicted negative health condition.

  • Publication number: 20200129863
Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods for cross-platform consumption of in-game objects are provided herein. An exemplary method includes receiving by a data platform from at least one first device game object data discovered by a user while playing a video game associated with the data platform; attributing by the data platform a cross-platform identifier to the game object data; storing by the data platform metadata associated with the game object data to a database associated with the data platform, and receiving by the data platform from a second device associated with the data platform a request for access to the game object data and the metadata. The request may include the cross-platform identifier. The exemplary method further includes authenticating by the data platform the request based on the cross-platform identifier; and based on the authentication selectively providing by the data platform access to game object data and the metadata.

  • Patent number: 10632018
Abstract: A wound treatment system includes a housing that defines an oxygen outlet. An oxygen production subsystem is included in the housing and coupled to the oxygen outlet. A control subsystem is coupled to the oxygen production subsystem and configured to receive pressure information that is indicative of a pressure in a restricted airflow enclosure that is coupled to the oxygen outlet. The control subsystem then uses the pressure information to control power provided to the oxygen production subsystem in order to control an oxygen flow that is created by the oxygen production subsystem and provided through the oxygen outlet to the restricted airflow enclosure.
