Abstract: A computer system displays a representation of a field of view of the one or more cameras, including a representation of a portion of a three-dimensional physical environment that is in the field of view of the one or more cameras. The computer system receives a request to add a first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to receiving the request to add the first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras and in accordance with a determination that the first virtual effect requires a scan of the physical environment, the computer system initiates a scan of the physical environment to detect one or more features of the physical environment and displays a user interface that indicates a progress of the scan of the physical environment.

Abstract: An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) includes an energy routing circuit coupled to a grid and an energy storage device and configured to selectively provide energy to a first load from the grid and the energy storage device based on a state of the grid. The UPS further includes a controller configured to control the energy routing circuit and to implement a first UPS node configured to establish and execute a first smart contract for energy exchange with a first consumer node associated with the first load and at least one second smart contract for energy exchange with at least one of a grid node associated with the grid and a second consumer node associated with a second load coupled to the grid via a second UPS.

Abstract: A personal response system which provides speakerphone mode and emergency audio mode by controlling microphone sensitivity when audio signals fall below an acceptable level. Adjustable microphone sensitivity which can be controlled by the response center and/or by the help console itself. Emergency audio mode allows low level voices from outside the room the help console is in to be heard by allowing the response center to control the gradual raising or lowering the microphone sensitivity to vary the listening range of the microphone. A simultaneous increase in speaker volume allows response center personnel to converse with a disabled individual who cannot come to the help console. A second microphone and speaker in the personal transmitter permits two-way voice communication even when the individual is disabled outside of the dwelling and the help console is no longer effective.

Abstract: A personal response system which automates self testing of help consoles and personal transmitters. Testing is automatically performed at predetermined time intervals by the help console and problems are reported to the response center on a periodic basis. Both the personal transmitter and its battery are tested on a periodic basis and error signals are forwarded to the response center after a predetermined time period. The help console contacts the response center at predetermined time intervals and the failure to contact the response center generates an exception report at the response center.
