  • Publication number: 20220323499
Abstract: A method of treating a subject having been diagnosed as having cancer with an immunotherapy is described. The method comprises targeting one or more clonal neoantigens selected using a method comprising determining whether a tumour-specific mutation is likely to be clonal in a subject. The method comprises providing sequence data from one or more samples from the subject comprising tumour genetic material, the sequence data comprising for each of the one or more samples, and determining the likelihood that the tumour-specific mutation is clonal as a posterior probability depending on: a prior probability of the mutation being clonal, and the probabilities of observing the sequence data if the tumour-specific mutation is (i) clonal and (ii) non-clonal, in view of a tumour fraction for each of the one or more samples and one or more candidate joint genotypes.

  • Patent number: 11405789
Abstract: Technologies for cloud-based secure WLAN group self-forming are described. One provisioner portal device receives, from a client provisionee device that desires to connect to a home WLAN, a first SSID and forwards, to a cloud service via a wireless AP device, the first SSID and a MAC address. The provisioner portal device receives, from the cloud service via the WAP device, a second SSID and a passphrase. The provisioner portal device sends, to the client provisionee device, a response that includes the second SSID. The provisioner portal device creates a one-time provisioning wireless network with the second SSID and the passphrase. Through the provisioner portal device, WAP credentials can be exchanged from the cloud server to the client provisionee device over a secure channel. The WAP credentials can be used to switch to the home WLAN without user interaction to manually enter the WAP credentials at the client provisionee device.

  • Publication number: 20220207531
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a user device, a first request for a privacy transaction card comprising a plurality of transaction metadata strings associated with a pending transaction between the user device and a first merchant server, analyzing, using a machine learning model, the transaction metadata strings in the first request to determine a risk assessment score for the first request, the machine learning model being trained to determine risk assessment scores based on multiple second requests stored in a privacy transaction database, determining whether the risk assessment score for the first request exceeds a specified risk threshold associated with the pending transaction, generating, upon determining the risk assessment score is below the specified risk threshold, a privacy transaction card comprising a unique privacy payment card number associated with the user device and the first merchant server, and transmitting, to the user device, the privacy transaction card.

  • Patent number: 11368994
Abstract: Techniques for a server-based reconnection of disconnected devices in a network are described. In an example, a computer system receives, from a second device, first data of a first device. The first data indicates that the first device has disconnected from the network due a change in the password of the network. The computer system determines that the first device is authorized to connect to the network. Based on the first device being authorized, the computer system transmits a request for a token. The computer system compares the token to a token stored by the computer system. In response to the tokens matching, the computer system transmits second data to the first device via the second device. The second data includes an updated password of the network. The first device uses the second data to reestablish a connection with the network.

  • Patent number: 11284258
Abstract: Techniques for connecting computing devices to a network are described. For example, a network access device (NAD) connects to a first network that includes a first access point (AP). The NAD receives, from a computing device, first data identifying a second network to be established for the computing device and sends the first data to a server. The NAD receives back a first credential associated with access to the second network and sets up a second AP to the second network. The second AP is associated with the first credential. The NAD sends, to the computing device, second data indicating that access to the second network is available, generates a second credential associated with access to the first network via the first AP, and sends the second credential to the computing device via the second AP.

  • Patent number: 11276061
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and systems for automatically securing and validating multi-server electronic communications over a plurality of networks, without requiring additional physical or programmatic infrastructure on the intermediary servers. A processor-executable component can be transmitted from a first server to a compute device, where it generates a pair of asymmetric cryptographic parameters. The first server uses one of those parameters to verify subsequent communications from the component and respond with tagged privacy communication strings, which the component can provide to a second server as part of a secure communication exchange. The first server can then receive secure communication exchange approval request from a third server and analyze the request to determine a validity metric.

  • Patent number: 11251960
Abstract: Techniques for providing a server-based Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) PIN procedure are described. In an example, a computing device generates a PIN associated with a WPS-PIN procedure. The computing device encrypts the PIN to generate an encrypted PIN based on a public key associated with a server. Further, the computing device sends, to another computing device that is communicatively coupled with the server via an access point, a WPS probe request that includes the encrypted PIN. Based on the WPS probe request, the computing device receives, from at least one of the other computing devices or the server, a credential associated with the access point. The computing devices connects to the access point based on the credential.

  • Patent number: 11091988
Abstract: A downhole system and method for producing and unloading from a well unloads a first fluid through a tubular in the well while blocking flow of a second fluid into the tubular. In an alternate mode, the second fluid is produced through the tubular while the first fluid is blocked from entering the tubular. In another alternate mode, a third fluid is unloaded through the tubular at the same the second fluid is produced from the well and through the tubular. In yet another alternate mode, the second fluid is pressurized downhole. In one example, the first fluid includes water, the second fluid includes a hydrocarbon gas, and the third fluid includes a hydrocarbon liquid. Means for unloading include a pump, means for pressurizing the second fluid include a compressor, and means for selectively blocking flow includes a flow circuit with one-way valves.

  • Patent number: 10975900
Abstract: A clamp for joining rods and a method for joining rods used for bracing a load is presented. The clamp has an opening to accept threaded portions of each of a pair of rods, which are parallel to each other with threads touching. The clamp forces the thread portions of the rods together to allow the rods to support compressive and tensile loads. The clamps may be used in pairs to provide added bending resistance to the rods.

  • Publication number: 20200274868
Abstract: Techniques for providing a credential of a secure data network to a computing device are described. In an example, a system stores an association between the computing device and a user account. The user account is also associated with a credential of the secure data network. The system receives a certificate of the computing device and determines the association between the computing device and the user account based on the certificate. Further, the system authenticates the computing device based on the association being determined to send to the computing device data, where this data is verified based on a private key of the system. The system receives a request of the computing device for the credential based on the data and sends the credential to the computing device.
