  • Publication number: 20240154612
Abstract: The application relates to voltage supply in switched-mode driver integrated circuit (IC). The IC has an output bridge with first and second circuit branches, where each of the circuit branches has an output node (102a, 102b) connected between first and second transistor switches (103a, 104a; 103b, 104b) for selectively connecting the output node to respective first and second voltages (VH, VL). There are discrete first and second IC die contacts (208a, 208b) for receiving the first voltage, and the first and second circuit branches are connected to the first and second IC die contacts respectively. Ancillary circuitry (105) is configured to receive a supply voltage from a voltage supply node voltage which is connected to the first and second IC die contacts via respective first and second respectively matched resistances.

  • Patent number: 11977230
Abstract: A wearable display system includes one or more emissive micro-displays, e.g., micro-LED displays. The micro-displays may be monochrome micro-displays or full-color micro-displays. The micro-displays may include arrays of light emitters. Light collimators may be utilized to narrow the angular emission profile of light emitted by the light emitters. Where a plurality of emissive micro-displays is utilized, the micro-displays may be positioned at different sides of an optical combiner, e.g., an X-cube prism which receives light rays from different micro-displays and outputs the light rays from the same face of the cube. The optical combiner directs the light to projection optics, which outputs the light to an eyepiece that relays the light to a user's eye. The eyepiece may output the light to the user's eye with different amounts of wavefront divergence, to place virtual content on different depth planes.

  • Patent number: 11954669
Abstract: Authentication method and systems using RFID-enabled payment cards are disclosed herein where a server receives a request corresponding to authorization of a payment associated with a payment card from an electronic terminal. The server identifies an electronic device of a user associated with the payment card. The server then transmits an instruction to the electronic device to cause an RFID reader of the electronic device to determine whether an RFID tag corresponding to the payment card is located within a predetermined proximity to the electronic device. When the payment card is located within the predetermined proximity, the server executes a first authentication protocol. Moreover, when the payment card is not located within the predetermined proximity, the server executes a second authentication protocol, wherein the second authentication protocol is more restrictive than the first authentication protocol.

  • Patent number: 11914150
Abstract: A wearable display system includes a light projection system having one or more emissive microdisplays, e.g., micro-LED displays. The light projection system projects time-multiplexed left-eye and right-eye images, which pass through an optical router having a polarizer and a switchable polarization rotator. The optical router is synchronized with the generation of images by the light projection system to impart a first polarization to left-eye images and a second different polarization to right-eye images. Light of the first polarization is incoupled into an eyepiece having one or more waveguides for outputting light to one of the left and right eyes, while light of the second polarization may be incoupled into another eyepiece having one or more waveguides for outputting light to the other of the left and right eyes. Each eyepiece may output incoupled light with variable amounts of wavefront divergence, to elicit different accommodation responses from the user's eyes.

  • Publication number: 20240037793
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for piggyback camera calibration. Existing piggybacked capture techniques use a “beauty camera” and an “action camera” to capture raw footage. The user directly applies the EIS stabilization track of a piggybacked action camera to the cinematic footage to create desired stable footage. Unfortunately, since the action camera may have been slightly offset from the cinematic video camera, the EIS stabilization data will only roughly approximate the necessary corrections. In other words, the user must manually fine tune the corrections. The disclosed embodiments use a calibration sequence to estimate a physical offset between the beauty camera and the action camera. Then, the estimated physical offset can be used to calculate an offset camera orientation for stabilizing the beauty camera. The foregoing process can be performed in-the-field before actual capture. This allows the user to check their set-up and fix any issues before capturing the desired footage.

  • Publication number: 20240020401
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide for generating and managing a digital ledger access system and its associated objects. An example method is configured for securing objects in a digital ledger of objects by identifying an object from amongst a plurality of objects in the digital ledger of objects and generating a quantum token for attachment with the object. The method includes deriving one or more classical public keys associated with the quantum token and determining an attempt to access the object. The method provides access to the object in response to a validation of the classical public key based on the quantum token, and the method precludes access to the object in response to an invalidation of the classical public key based on the quantum token.

  • Publication number: 20230247292
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for stabilizing image data based on a lens polynomial. Non-rectilinear footage can be captured and rectified in-camera; the rectified images may be stabilized to provide rectified stable video. In one exemplary embodiment, the footage is rectified and stabilized based on a lens polynomial and the camera's own movement. In some variants, the rectified stable video may be stored along with its margin track. In-camera rectified stable video provides several benefits over traditional techniques (e.g., the ability to share rectilinear content from the camera without additional post-processing, as well as reduced file sizes of the shared videos). Lens-aware post-processing can reuse portions of the in-camera rectified stable videos while providing additional benefits (e.g., the ability to re-frame the video in post-production).

  • Publication number: 20230109047
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for post-processing in-camera stabilized video. Embodiments of the present disclosure reconstruct and re-stabilize an in-camera stabilized video to provide for improved stabilization (e.g., a wider crop, etc.) In-camera sensor data may be stored and used to re-calculate orientation metadata in post-production. In-camera stabilization provides several benefits (e.g., the ability to share stabilized videos from the camera without additional post-processing as well as reduced file sizes of the shared videos). Camera-aware post-processing can reuse portions of the in-camera stabilized videos while providing additional benefits (e.g., the ability to regenerate the original captured videos in post-production and re-stabilize the videos). Camera-aware post-processing can also improve orientation metadata and remove sensor error. The disclosed techniques also enable assisted optical flow-based stabilization using the refined metadata.

  • Patent number: 11587044
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for a user interface uniting two primary components, a list view and a reading pane, within a message reading application. Technologies are also described for synchronizing status and parameters between the two primary user interface components. In particular, a user interface for reading messages can represent all components of a conversation with both a list view for presenting a message map, and a reading pane for presenting a content view. The list view can present a list of messages grouped by conversation. The reading pane window can contain smaller windows or frames. Each of the smaller windows or frames can contain a message within a given conversation. Synchronization provided between the list view and a reading pane can allow message selection in one of the user interface components to cause display and selection of the corresponding message in the other user interface component.

  • Patent number: 11399121
Abstract: An image capture device may capture video frames while experiencing motion. The video frames may be stored in a visual track, and rotational positions of the image capture device may be stored in a rotational position track. The visual track and the rotational position track may not be temporally aligned. A looping stabilized view of the view frames and a synchronization adjustment option may be presented on a display. The synchronization adjustment option may enable user modification of timing of the rotational positions stored within the rotational position track. Timing modification of the rotational positions may cause changes in the looping stabilized view, which may be used as feedback on whether the synchronization between the visual track and the rotational position track is being improved or not by the timing modification of the rotational positions.
