  • Patent number: 11701486
Abstract: An interface for positive pressure respiratory therapy includes a mask assembly having a mask seal and a mask shell. The mask assembly is positioned lower than and exposes a bridge of the user's nose. The mask seal includes first and second portions on respective first and second sides of a nasal region that contact opposing sides of the user's nose. The first and second portions each include supports that help maintain a shape of the mask seal. A pair of covers can be supported relative to the mask assembly and adjacent a respective one of the first and second portions of the mask seal. The covers limit expansion of the first and second portions of the mask seal in response to pressurized air within the mask seal. The supports of the first and second portions can transfer load from the mask seal to the covers.

  • Patent number: 11646861
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes using a transmitter to send data from the transmitter through a plurality of lanes to a receiver using a synchronous operation mode that includes sending the data from the transmitter through the plurality of lanes to the receiver in a synchronous transmission manner that relies on an alignment between a transmitter clock frequency and a receiver clock frequency. A synchronous operation performance analysis (SOPA) is performed during the synchronous operation mode. A switch from the synchronous operation mode to an asynchronous operation mode is made based on a result of performing the SOPA. The asynchronous operation mode includes sending the data from the transmitter through the plurality of lanes to the receiver without requiring alignment between the transmitter clock frequency and the receiver clock frequency.

  • Patent number: 11637516
Abstract: A system and method uses field-oriented control (FOC) of a multi-phase motor to prevent thermal runaway of the thermal battery that powers the motor. An offset is applied to the flux command signal to ensure that the power level drawn from the thermal battery exceeds a minimum power level to avoid thermal runaway. This is done without any additional hardware, hence the reduced cost, inefficiencies and packaging volume of such hardware. In different modes, the offset is applied to prevent thermal runaway regardless of torque production, when the system is in failure and torque production is zero, for variable and intermittent periods when torque production is zero, and during normal operation to augment power drawn to produce torque.

  • Publication number: 20230106744
Abstract: A method for calculating carbon credits includes obtaining sensor data associated with at least a portion of a deployment for cultivating a target product in a body of water, executing at least one model based at least in part on the sensor data to generate an output predicting at least one characteristic associated with the target product, the deployment, or a portion of the body of water, and inputting the output into a quantification model. The quantification model is executed to generate an output associated with a predicted capacity of the target product to sequester carbon dioxide. An accuracy of the predicted capacity resulting from the output of the quantification model is greater than an accuracy of a predicted or inferred capacity resulting from the output of each model individually. Carbon dioxide offset credits are determined based on the predicted capacity resulting from the output of the quantification model.
