Abstract: Examples of the disclosure data enable interactions of a user with an object to be used to improve the classification of the object in mediated reality applications. In examples of the disclosure LiDAR data is obtained from a mediated reality device. The mediated reality device is used by a user and the LiDAR data includes data points representing at least part of an object. Position data relating to a position of the user's hand relative to the object is obtained and interaction data indicating how the user's hand is interacting with the object is also obtained. At least some of the interaction data is obtained from an electromyography device coupled to the user. The position data is used to map the interaction data to the LiDAR data to enable the interaction data to be used to classify the object.

Abstract: The invention relates to an aerosol generation system comprising an aerosol generation device having a heating element and a consumable for use with the aerosol generation device. The heat transfer element can be heated by the heating element of the aerosol generation device when the consumable is attached to the aerosol generation device. The heat transfer element is configured to be deformed when its temperature is at or above a threshold temperature, such that an area of contact, which exists between the heating element and the heat transfer element when the consumable is attached to the aerosol generation device and the temperature of the heat transfer element is below the threshold temperature, can be reduced, or eliminated.

Abstract: An aerosol-generating device includes a vapor generation unit adapted to transform an aerosol forming material into vapor, and a vapor channel extending from the vapor generation unit to a vapor outlet of the aerosol-generating device. The vapor generation unit includes a micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS). The vapor channel is provided with a movable cover having a closed position in which it closes the vapor channel and an open position. The cover is adapted to move from the closed position to the open position under the effect of a suction applied on the aerosol-generating device by the user to vape. The cover has a lower face provided with a layer of an absorbent material adapted to imbibe the aerosol forming material. This protects the vaporisation device from any foreign particles and avoids liquid leakage.

Abstract: A computer that dynamically generates a customized second document is described. During operation, the computer receives information specifying activation of a hosted field in a document associated with a third party, where the information specifies a willingness to receive one or more messages from the computer and specifies a telephone number. In response, the computer dynamically generates the customized second document that includes information about one or more transactions (such as one or more upcoming events) of interest to an individual associated with the telephone number. Then, the computer sends a message to an address corresponding to the telephone number, where the message includes a link to the customized second document. Next, when the computer receives information specifying activation of the link from an electronic device, the computer provides information specifying the customized second document to the electronic device for display on the electronic device.
