  • Publication number: 20230383881
Abstract: A quick connector is adapted to display a code that verifies that a latch member is engaged to retain an installed pipe to the quick connector. The quick connector comprises a connector body having a receiving portion surrounding an internal passage, the internal passage arranged to receive the pipe therein. A latch member retained on the receiving portion is arranged to be movable between a pipe insertion position and a latched position. In the pipe insertion position, the latch member allows the pipe to be inserted into the internal passage. A code readable by a scanning device becomes readable when the latch member is moved to the latched position verifying that the pipe is installed and latched in the connector body.

  • Patent number: 10961032
Abstract: A sealing element having a substantially right-angled exterior corner is formed from a preform. The preform is formed from a strip of sealing material including a first longitudinal side surface having a projection projecting therefrom and an oppositely arranged second longitudinal side surface having a notch formed therein. The notch is aligned with the projection with respect to the longitudinal direction of the strip. A first segment of the strip is formed to a first side of the projection and a second segment of the strip is formed to a second side of the projection. The projection forms the substantially right-angled exterior corner of the sealing element following a bending of the first segment perpendicular to the second segment.

  • Patent number: 9648852
Abstract: A system (100) and method (900) of training or modifying the behavior of pets and, in particular, dogs is disclosed and could include using scratch-resistant protector (104, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800) having adhesive (202, 402, 602, 802), additive (302, 404, 502, 604, 702, 704, 804, 806), or both to protect the integrity of door (102). Adhesive (202, 402, 602, 802) could generally provide a securing or coupling relationship between door (102) and protector (104, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800), while additive (302, 404, 502, 604, 702, 704, 804, 806) could provide a material that canines find unpleasant to smell, taste, touch, or scratch. In one embodiment, additive (302, 404, 502, 604, 702, 704, 804, 806) could include an additive that may be reapplied if it wears off or otherwise diminishes in strength, quantity, quality, or overall effectiveness.
