Patent number: 9576066Abstract: Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems parse a form from a webpage to identify a plurality of input areas and corresponding input types. A multi-sequence form including a plurality of stages is generated. Each stage of the multi-sequence form is to be displayed and submitted independently of other stages of the multi-sequence form. Each stage of the multi-sequence form corresponds to a subset of the parsed form including one or more of the identified input areas. One of the plurality of identified input areas is identified to be of an input type categorized as having a higher likelihood of being completed and submitted by a user. The multi-sequence form is ordered such that the identified input area is ordered first. An updated version of the webpage is generated including the generated multi-sequence form in the determined order in place of the parsed form.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2014Date of Patent: February 21, 2017Assignee: CAPTORA INC.Inventors: Srihari P. Sampath-Kumar, Anindo Mukherjee

Publication number: 20160328483Abstract: Techniques for generating content for topics based on user demand are disclosed. In some embodiments, generating content for topics based on user demand includes determining a topic based on a user demand; automatically generating content for the topic; and selecting the content that is contextually relevant for display within a corpus of content (e.g., a web site, a social networking web page, content customized for mobile devices, content customized based on location awareness, or an electronic mail message).Type: ApplicationFiled: May 2, 2016Publication date: November 10, 2016Inventors: Anindo Mukherjee, Ashutosh Garg, Raj K. De Datta, Devesh Senapati

Publication number: 20150261874Abstract: Web pages of a website are parsed and a set of n-grams are generated from the parsed web pages. A relevancy value is determined for each n-gram and a second set of n-grams is generated by removing any n-gram in the first set whose relevancy value is below a threshold. A third set of n-grams is generated at least by removing those of the second set of n-grams that have been determined to be similar to another one of the second set of n-grams. Responsive to determining that there is not a web page that is directed at an n-gram, a web page is automatically created with content directed at that n-gram including reusing existing content of the website that is related to the n-gram. One or more links to the created page are added to web pages so that the created page is not an orphan page.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2014Publication date: September 17, 2015Inventors: Srihari P. Sampath-Kumar, Anindo Mukherjee

Patent number: 9058478Abstract: A system is provided that determines the likelihood of an account is being used by a computer program to automatically generate and send information to other accounts. In one aspect, the system calculates the likelihood for one account based on the amount of the account's social interaction with other accounts and the likelihood that such other accounts and are being used by a computer program to automatically generate and send information to other accounts.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2009Date of Patent: June 16, 2015Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Sushrut Karanjkar, Anindo Mukherjee, Meenali Rungta

Patent number: 8050409Abstract: As various applications of wireless ad hoc network have been proposed, security has become one of the big research challenges and is receiving increasing attention. The present invention provides for a distributed key management and authentication approach by deploying the recently developed concepts of identity-based cryptography and threshold secret sharing. Without any assumption of pre-fixed trust relationship between nodes, the ad hoc network works in a self-organizing way to provide the key generation and key management service, which effectively solves the problem of single point of failure in the traditional public key infrastructure (PKI)-supported system. The identity-based cryptography mechanism provided not only to provide end-to-end authenticity and confidentiality, but also saves network bandwidth and computational power of wireless nodes.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2005Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Assignee: University of CincinnatiInventors: Dharma P. Agrawal, Hongmei Deng, Anindo Mukherjee
