  • Patent number: 10494755
Abstract: A clothes dryer having a primary drying chamber with an air flow system having an inlet in the rear wall and an outlet on the front wall to define a primary air flow path through the primary drying chamber between the inlet and the outlet. A door movable between opened/closed positions to selectively open/close the primary drying chamber. A secondary drying chamber located adjacent the front wall to at least partially block access through the access opening without preventing rotation of the tub in the primary drying chamber. The secondary drying chamber also defining a secondary flow path through the drying basket to the front wall outlet. A scoop located within the primary drying chamber that deflects at least some of the air in the primary flow path to the secondary flow path.

  • Patent number: 10422070
Abstract: A laundry treating appliance having a housing defining an interior that terminates in an upper edge that defines a door profile. A treating chamber is located within the interior and is mounted to the housing. A dispenser door is pivotally mounted to the housing for pivoting movement between closed and opened positions. At least one dispenser cup is fluidly coupled to the treating chamber and is slidably mounted to the housing for sliding movement between extended and retracted positions. The at least one dispenser cup is operably coupled to the dispenser door such that pivotal movement of the dispenser door between the closed and opened positions effects a corresponding sliding movement of the at least one dispenser cup between the retracted and extended positions while maintaining the dispenser cup in an upright position.

  • Patent number: 10077526
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a washing machine including a cabinet defining a housing with internal components of a conventional automated clothes washer, a door mounted to the cabinet to selectively open/close the opening to the cabinet, and a dispenser in the form of a drawer having at least one cup in which doses of treating chemistry can be received. The dispenser includes a door pivotally mounted to the housing for pivoting movement between closed and opened positions. The dispenser drawer is pivotally mounted to the dispenser door and slidably mounted to the housing such that pivotal movement of the dispenser door between the closed and opened position effects a corresponding sliding movement of the at least one dispenser cup between the extended and retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20080278444
Abstract: User input systems are provided having a core extending along a length and an input sleeve having an exterior surface and an interior surface shaped and sized to receive the core. A slide sensing system has a slide sensor that senses sliding movement of the input sleeve relative to the core and that causes a slide signal to be generated that indicates at least that the input sleeve has been moved along the length of the core and a direction of such movement. A rotation sensing system has a rotation sensor that senses rotational movement of the input sleeve relative to the core and that causes a rotation signal to be generated that indicates at least that the input sleeve has been rotated relative to the core. A processing system determines an output signal based upon the slide signal and rotation signal.

  • Publication number: 20080278443
Abstract: User input devices are provided having an input sleeve with an exterior surface and an interior surface shaped and sized to receive a core. A slide sensing system has a slide sensor positioned proximate to the interior surface that senses sliding movement of the input sleeve along a length of the core and causes a slide signal to be generated that indicates at least that the input sleeve has been moved along the length of the core and a direction of such movement along said core. A rotation sensing system has a rotation sensor positioned proximate to the interior surface that senses rotational movement of the input sleeve relative to the core and causes a rotation signal to be generated that indicates at least that the input sleeve has been rotated relative to the core. A processing system determines an output signal based upon the slide signal and the rotation signal.

  • Publication number: 20030228144
Abstract: A camera includes a main body part, a pair of front and rear cover parts that house the main body part between them, and a cover attachment to the front cover part. An operational device is mounted on the main body part to be included within the front and rear cover parts, and is depressible to be activated. The front cover part has a hole positioned over the operational device to permit the operational device to be accessed through the hole to be depressed. The cover attachment to the front cover part covers the hole in the front cover part to conceal the hole, and has an actuating member that is depressible through the hole to depress the operational device.
