    Abstract: Disclosed is a device that attaches to a standard bed and prevents or treats bedsores by using electro-mechanical means to rotate a person from side to side in a bed without human assistance. In one embodiment, a controller that is attached to at least one linear actuator and at least one electric motor is used to rotate a person in bed at regular intervals without human assistance and without disturbing any medical equipment to which the person may be attached.
