  • Publication number: 20080244853
Abstract: Wet and dry wipes comprising additives for removing allergens from surfaces are disclosed. The wipe substrate comprises an additive capable and binding the allergen onto the substrate such that the allergen can be removed from the surface. Various allergens including animal and pet dander can be removed from numerous surfaces utilizing the wipes of the present invention. In some embodiments of the invention, the allergenicity of the allergen is also reduced. Suitable additives for immobilization onto the wipe substrate include lectins, proteases, and enzyme inhibitors.

  • Publication number: 20070208317
Abstract: A disposable pant-like absorbent undergarment is disclosed formed with a one-piece chassis having front, back and crotch regions. An absorbent assembly is secured to the chassis. A pair of seams joins the front and back regions to form a unitary undergarment having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. The undergarment also includes leg elastics, waist elastics and chassis elastics. Each of the waist elastics is spaced apart from one another by a distance y and each has a tension value. The chassis elastics extend around the front and back regions without crossing the absorbent. Each of the chassis elastics is spaced apart from one another by a distance z and each has a tension value. Furthermore, the distance z is greater than the distance y.

  • Publication number: 20060173436
Abstract: A disposable absorbent article is disclosed having stretchable front and back regions each having a first scalloped end, a second end, a first side edge, a second side edge, an interior surface and an exterior surface. An absorbent assembly is secured to the interior surfaces of the front and back regions. A waist band is secured to the exterior surfaces of the front and back regions and each of a pair of leg bands is secured to the interior surface of one of the front and back regions. The absorbent article further includes a pair of seams joining the front and back regions together along the first and second side edges to form an absorbent article having a waist opening with a scalloped edge and a pair of leg openings.

  • Publication number: 20060129119
Abstract: An absorbent article (2) includes a first body panel (4) having a first waistband edge (20) and laterally opposed first side portions (24); and a separately provided second body panel (6) having a second waistband edge (18) and laterally opposed second side portions (28). A separately provided crotch member (50) is operatively connected between the first body panel (4) and second body panel (6). The first body panel (4) is operatively connected to the crotch member (50) along a contoured attachment zone (54) which thereby provides a pocket section (56) of the first body panel (4). The pocket section (56) is operatively unattached to the crotch member (50), and has a free-edge region (58) that provides an operative access opening into the pocket section (56). The free-edge region (58) of the pocket section (56) includes an operative, pocket fastener mechanism (74) that is operatively connected to a bodyside surface of the pocket section (56) of the first body panel (4).
