  • Publication number: 20240106828
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for providing centralized seamless data access are disclosed. A processor builds a data mesh architecture in a cloud environment. The data mesh architecture includes a single central hub account provided between a plurality of data producer accounts and a plurality of data consumer accounts. The processor causes the plurality of data producer accounts to publish different types of data received from a plurality of data sources onto the single central hub account along with corresponding metadata. The processor also causes the single central hub account to: incorporate the metadata into an application; receive a request from the plurality of data consumer accounts to access the published different types of data from the single central hub account; and control who from the plurality of data consumer accounts can access the published different types of data from the single central hub account based on the metadata.

  • Publication number: 20220309570
Abstract: Systems for dynamic data retrieval and processing are provided. In some aspects, a request to redeem an instrument may be received. Responsive to authenticating the user, a scan of the instrument being redeemed may be performed. Image data, metadata, and the like, may be captured. In some examples, the request to redeem the instrument, as well as the scanned instrument data, may be received by a computing platform. In response to receiving the data and request to redeem the instrument, the computing platform may initiate a communication session with a third party or external entity computing system. Some or all of the scanned image data may be transmitted to the external entity system for determining whether the instrument is valid and for determining, in real-time, a value associated with the instrument. Based on the validity and value data, the request to redeem the instrument may be processed or rejected.

  • Patent number: 9594780
Abstract: A database system is provided with user-directed application-side storage tiering control functionality. A database node of a database system comprises a daemon to communicate with a plurality of storage devices on a plurality of storage tiers of the database system; the daemon further configured to implement storage tiering control functionality based on a user-specified data selection and tier imperative for at least first and second storage tiers comprising respective disjoint subsets of the plurality of storage tiers. An application executing on the database node provides the user-specified data selection and tier imperative to the daemon for processing in response to a predefined keyword. The daemon performs the storage tiering control functionality in response to a programmatic call comprising one or more predefined keywords, such as predefined base command verbs, tier imperative keywords and/or environmental qualifiers.
