  • Patent number: 10002692
Abstract: The method is provided for manufacturing a perforated sheet-like high-voltage insulating spacer for a high-voltage component, which component comprises a field grading condenser core with the spacer which is wound in spiral form around an axis, with electrically conducting layers which are inserted between successive windings of the spacer, and with a polymeric matrix which penetrates the spacer and which embeds the spacer and the layers. The method comprises at least steps as follows: an electrically insulating tape, and the patterned tape is expanded at right angle to the cutting lines in order to form a spacer with a perforated three-dimensional lattice structure. The combined effect of cutting a tape and expanding the cutted tape allows the formation of spacers with a manifold of sizes which exceed the size of the tape in function of manufacturing parameters, in particular in function of the configuration of the pattern and the magnitude of the expansion.

  • Publication number: 20170104279
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to an electrical component for a high-voltage installation. The electrical component in a coaxial arrangement, has an electrical conductor which extends along an axis and is connected to high-voltage potential and a rigid insulating body. The insulting body is fastened on the electrical conductor and surrounds the electrical conductor. A mounting flange is fastened on the insulating body, and is connected to ground potential. A dome-shaped control electrode is electrically connectively connected to the electrical conductor and is fastened to one end of the electrical conductor. During operation of the installation, the control electrode controls the electrical field between the electrical conductor and the mounting flange.

  • Patent number: 9601242
Abstract: An exemplary mold is disclosed for impregnating a prefabricated condenser core (C) of a high voltage bushing with a liquid resin and includes two mold modules movable against each other and shaped to form an axially symmetric mold cavity. The mold forms a column of cylindrical design, in which the at least two mold modules are arranged on top of each other. A first of the two mold modules can be executed as a hollow cylinder. Two opposing front faces of the two mold modules and a circular O-ring arranged between the two opposing front faces form a first sealing interface of the metal mold. Such a mold can have a very efficient sealing system and allow high pressures to be applied to the liquid resin and a beneficial forming of the condenser core in a device in which the resin is cured according to a specified temperature profile.

  • Patent number: 8952257
Abstract: An electrical conductor carries a rated current in a high-current bushing of a transformer. The electrical conductor includes a conductor piece which extends along an axis and has a cylindrical envelope surface, a first electrical connection, and a second electrical connection. The first electrical connection has two contact surfaces which are aligned parallel to one another. Electrical losses of the electrical conductor are kept low, with a compact design. This is achieved, in part, because the second electrical connection is connected without a joint to the conductor piece, and the first electrical connection is hollow and, at right angles to the axis, has an oval profile with two longitudinal faces which form the two contact surfaces.

  • Patent number: 8455763
Abstract: An exemplary plug-in high-voltage bushing connects an electrical conductor to a metal-encapsulated component, which is filled with insulating agent, of a high-voltage installation. The bushing is rotationally symmetrical with respect to an axis and has a centrally routed electrical conductor, a field control device and an insulator surrounds the electrical conductor. The bushing also includes a tapering section that dielectrically strengthens a joint after insertion of the bushing into a plug part, which forms a seal for the insulating agent. The joint is arranged between an insulating sleeve of the plug part and the tapering section of the insulator. The bushing has capacitor plates, which are electrically isolated from one another by an insulating film, are integrated into the insulator, and pass through the mounting flange into the tapering section of the insulator.
