  • Publication number: 20200157273
Abstract: The present invention relates to polyol mixtures comprising (b1) at least one polyether polyol having a hydroxyl value of 10 to 60 mg KOH/g and having a high proportion of ethylene oxide, (b2) at least one polyether polyol having a hydroxyl value of 10 to 100 mg KOH/g, a low proportion of ethylene oxide, and not less than 40% primary OH groups, and (b3) at least one polyether polyol having a hydroxyl value of 10 to 100 mg KOH/g, a low proportion of ethylene oxide, and not more than 30% primary OH groups. The invention further relates to a process for producing flexible polyurethane foams using the mixtures according to the invention, to the thereby obtainable flexible polyurethane foams, and to the use of the thereby obtainable flexible polyurethane foams as a mattress or cushion, as a cushioning element for furniture or as a seat element.

  • Publication number: 20130150476
Abstract: A process for producing viscoelastic flexible polyurethane foams having an air flow value of at least 1 dm3/s is provided. A polymeric compound having isocyanate-reactive groups in addition to a polyisocyanate is used in the process. The viscoelastic flexible polyurethane foam obtained by such a process and the use of such polyurethane foams for mattresses and cushions are also described.

  • Patent number: 8426482
Abstract: Invention relates to a process for producing viscoelastic flexible polyurethane foams by reacting a) polyisocyanates with b) compounds having at least two hydrogen atoms which are reactive toward isocyanate groups, wherein as b) a mixture of bi) from 25 to 70% by weight of a hydroxyl-comprising natural oil or fat or a reaction product of a hydroxyl-comprising natural oil or fat with alkylene oxides, bii) from 3 to 30% by weight of at least one polyether having a hydroxyl number of from 100 to 800 mg KOH/g and a functionality of 3-5 selected from the group consisting of polyether prepared by addition of alkylene oxides onto an amine, biii) 20-50% by weight of at least one polyether alcohol having a hydroxyl number of from 10 to 80 mg KOH/g and a functionality of 2-5, where the proportion of ethylene oxide is 5-25% by weight, based on the weight of the polyether alcohol, and at least part of the ethylene oxide is added on at the end of the polyether chain, biv) >0-8% by weight of at least one polyether alcoh
