  • Publication number: 20130156664
Abstract: Methods of reducing emissions levels during steady-state conditions are disclosed for use with a dry scrubber desulfurization system. A dry calcium hydroxide powder is injected into the gas flowpath and watered in the spray dryer absorber. The resulting slurry is then deposited on the filter bags in the baghouse. This can be done at lower temperatures than the spray dryer absorber would otherwise be operable, enabling desulfurization to occur earlier in the combustion process, particularly during startup of a cold boiler at ambient temperature. The operation of the boiler can also be backed up, made up, trimmed, or augmented depending on various operating scenarios.

  • Publication number: 20130102328
Abstract: An approach for generating location stamps in response to a request from a device is presented. A location stamping platform receives a request from a device for one or more location stamps. The location stamping platform then processes and/or facilitates a processing of a hierarchy of one or more policies to determine one or more candidate location stamps in response to the request.

  • Publication number: 20130102371
Abstract: A gaming system installable in a urinal or toilet in which a removably attached pressure and location sensor assembly can be wirelessly coupled to a data server. The data server can include a user interface allowing the user to initiate a gaming session, such as through a touch screen monitor positioned above or nearby the urinal. The data server can collect and store data from the pressure and location sensor. The data server can be coupled to a plurality of touch screen monitors and pressure and location sensor assemblies for providing a multi-user gaming environment. Collected and processed data can be presented in real time on the touch screen monitors and can be stored in a database.

  • Patent number: 8428559
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a system and method for recording mobile phone calls for record keeping. The present invention utilizes a software call-recording application installed on the mobile phone to make a direct connection to a centralized recording server utilizing a conference or three-way calling feature on the mobile phone. The centralized recording server can answer the incoming call from the mobile phone. The incoming call can be tagged with an identification. The recording server can then capture the audio and any data and store the audio and data for future use. In one embodiment, a recording can be made at the mobile phone and forwarded to the recording server. The recording can be initiated remotely.

  • Publication number: 20130066840
Abstract: An approach is provided for resolving incoherent data items of a user spanning multiple different groups and/or services. An incoherency platform determines an incoherency of a first data item and at least a second data item that are shared by a first user in a first group and at least a second group, respectively. The platform also processes the incoherency, the first data item, the at least a second data item, or a combination thereof to cause, at least in part, a generation of a resolved data item. The platform further causes, at least in part, a substitution of the resolved data item for the first data item, the at least a second data item, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20120308976
Abstract: This invention provides touch stimulation to allow the wearer to feel where the muscle contraction should occur. The present invention relates to a device to increase muscle focus using touch in which a band placed in contact with the body part to be exercised includes a focus point device. A focus point device can be removably attached to the band. The focus point device can be formed of a rigid or flexible material. For example, the focus point device can be formed in the shape of a half sphere including a plurality of blunt protrusions on the round half of the sphere.

  • Publication number: 20120172004
Abstract: The present invention related to a method for recording a mobile phone call and mobile phone recording system for recording audio from mobile phone calls. An external call is established with the mobile phone. A connection is made between the wireless phone and an audio capture and broadcast device, such as a Bluetooth device. The call recorder application can instruct the Bluetooth device to forward copies of transmit and receive audio back to the call recording application. The internal call can be tagged with an identification. Thereafter, the audio, and data such as SMS and MMS, can be forwarded to a third party database for storage or stored locally for the end user to play back on the phone or transfer to an external device using USB, wireless, or similar data connection.

  • Publication number: 20120015634
Abstract: The present invention related to a method for recording a mobile phone call and mobile phone recording system for recording audio from mobile phone calls. The mobile phone recording system can have an interface that is seamless and undetectable by the user so that the system can be used for covert applications, such as for use by undercover law enforcement personnel, or the system can be used as a business security tool installed on all wireless phones issued by an organization. An external call is established with the mobile phone. A call recording application can conference an independent, internal call to the external call via the phone's API, or simply by nature that both calls are using the same microphone and speaker devices on the phone for the audio interface to the user. Audio of the internal call can be captured and stored at the mobile phone. The internal call can be tagged with an identification.

  • Publication number: 20050060693
Abstract: When read by a machine, a computer-readable code arrangement medium causes the machine to parse a command string resulting in the execution of the commands. Such a computer-readable code arrangement includes: a command processor code portion for processing at least one command string having a command-name and at least one parameter; at least one parameter-handler code portion associated with the at least one parameter and adapted for processing the at least one parameter; and at least one syntax store for storing a plurality of syntax descriptions for a set of the command strings and for storing associations between the parameters and the parameter-handler code portions. Such a command processor code portion syntax processes the command string using the syntax descriptions and the parameter-handler code portions.
