Abstract: A protector for the lower portion of a users leg that is made of a trough, flexible material, preferably leather, that substantially encircles the users leg to protect that leg from being injured by the plastic cord of a weed trimmer. The protector has a lower portion that extends over the upper surface of the users foot and the generally cylindrically shaped protector extends upwardly to just below the knee of the user.
