The training device includes a first attachment portion configured to couple the training device to a golf club and a second attachment portion coupled to the first attachment portion. The training device also includes an alignment component coupled to the second attachment portion. The alignment component can be shaped to represent a hitting surface of a different piece of sports equipment. When coupled to a golf club, the training device can be oriented such that the hitting surface of the alignment component is aligned with a club face of the golf club.
