  • Patent number: 11482389
Abstract: A limit switch operating head includes a shaft rotatable in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, a cam member supported on the shaft and that is rotatable in the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions responsive to rotation of the shaft, and a follower actuated by the cam member responsive to rotation thereof, with the follower including a pivot pin, a lever portion pivotable about the pivot pin, and a rolling pin mounted to the lever portion and in contact with the cam member. An actuator member contacts the lever portion and translates linearly in a first direction or second direction responsive to pivoting thereof. The rolling pin moves along a profile of the cam member upon rotation of the cam member so as to cause the lever portion to pivot, with the actuator member linearly translating in the first direction or the second direction responsive to the pivoting of the lever portion.

  • Patent number: 9893477
Abstract: A housing for an electrical connector has a connector for reversibly receiving flexible arms of a clamping element in a locking manner. Further, an assembly has the housing and a clamping element having at least two flexible arms, between which a receiving space is defined, in which the connector of the housing are reversibly held in a locking manner.

  • Patent number: 7764169
Abstract: A monitoring system for detecting faults in an apparatus, such as a ski lift, employs a communication network onto which a sensor bus controller periodically transmits a safety message and receives a echo of each safety message. Different sensors are coupled to sensor adapter modules that in turn are connected in a series to the communication network. After the last sensor adapter module in the series, each safety message is echoed back along the communication network. Each sensor adapter module, upon receiving a safety message, increments a count in that message and transmits the resultant safety message to another module. When a sensor indicates a fault condition, the associated sensor adapter module blocks propagation of safety messages along the communication network. The sensor bus controller determines, in response to a failure to receive the echo and to the count in the echo, whether a fault occurred.

  • Patent number: 7226310
Abstract: The control apparatus includes a plurality of control units. Each control unit includes a cable containing electrical conductors. Male and female connectors may be disposed at opposite end portions of the cable. An inline connector may be disposed between the male and female connectors and is connected with the electrical conductors. A sensor has terminals which are engagable with terminals in the inline conductor to connect the sensor with the electrical conductors in the cable. Upon disconnection of one sensor from the control apparatus, an electrical connection is maintained with the remaining sensors.

  • Patent number: 6456495
Abstract: A logic controller formed by self-contained device modules plugged onto a DIN rail and onto a backplane contained in the DIN rail, the modules variously comprising a power supply, a logic control, I/O devices and gateways, each I/O device having microprocessor power, and the modules having a sliding lock movable into position adjacent DIN-rail-engaging flexible tabs to block deflection of the tabs and removal of the module from the DIN rail.
