Abstract: In various embodiments, a match cutting application automatically generates candidate match cuts. In some embodiments, the match cutting application detects shot sequences within one or more video sequences, deduplicates the shot sequences, computes an encoding of each shot sequence after the deduplication, and compares the encodings associated with pairs of shot sequences using a distance metric to identify pairs of shot sequences that can be cut together to generate candidate match cuts. In addition, the match cutting application can apply an approximation technique, such as an approximate nearest neighbor search technique, to identify intermediate pairs of shot sequences prior to comparing encodings associated with the intermediate pairs of shot sequences.

Abstract: An appliance specific laser aiming device for visual spray pattern testing of fire suppression spray nozzles has a hollow cylindrical body with a first end threadably fitted to an adapter that is fitted to the existing spray nozzle. A laser module within the cylindrical body projects a light beam through the interior and out of the lens on the second end. The second end has dial adjustment. A hollow housing with grip removably and rotatably fits to proximal the first end. Rotating the hollow housing positions a chosen nozzle depiction for setting to match specific spray nozzle characteristics wherein one device tests a plurality of nozzles, including those of various manufacturers.

Abstract: Generating a machine tool program for performing coordinate measurements. The machine tool program may be communicated to a machine tool controller such that the machine tool controller is operable to execute the machine tool program. The machine tool program may be generated from a dimensional metrology program. As part of generating the machine tool program, a path definition and a machine definition may be combined. Measurement data resulting from an execution of the machine tool program may be received by a data server and analyzed using dimensional metrology analysis. Indicators may be provided within the machine tool program to be used during dimensional metrology analysis.
