  • Publication number: 20230092998
Abstract: Methods for manufacturing memory resistor devices and memory resistor devices manufactured according to such methods. A method includes depositing a first layer of dielectric material onto a substrate comprising a first electrode; bombarding the deposited first layer with an ion beam to create one or more defects in the first layer; depositing a second electrode such that the deposited first layer is between the first electrode and the second electrode; electroforming the first layer by applying an electroforming voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode.

  • Publication number: 20220416163
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a memory resistor device. A first layer of a dielectric material is deposited onto a first electrode. A subsection of the first layer of the dielectric material is removed to expose one or more edges of the dielectric material and a second layer of the dielectric material is deposited to create one or more boundaries between the one or more edges of the first layer of the dielectric material and the second layer of the dielectric material. A second electrode is provided, wherein the one or more boundaries between the one or more edges of the first layer of the dielectric material and the second layer of the dielectric material extend at least partially from the first electrode to the second electrode.

  • Patent number: 11004506
Abstract: A switching resistor has a low resistance state and a high resistance state. The switching resistor comprises a dielectric layer disposed between a first electrode and a second electrode. The switching resistor further comprises a textured boundary surface between the first electrode and the dielectric layer. The textured boundary surface promotes the formation of a conductive pathway in the dielectric layer between the first electrode and the second electrode.

  • Patent number: 10936732
Abstract: Multi-party consent to performance of an action is securely registered by receiving from at least one consent requesting entity (CRE) a consent action request (CAR), which is matched with a consent policy. The policy may specify a plurality of consent voting entities (CVE), and direct confirmation of registration of an identity of each CVE in a blockchain. A consent request (CR) may then be issued to the CVEs. Consent request responses (CRRs) from the CVEs are then compared with at least one condition in the consent policy. A representation of a state of the CRRs is relative to the consent policy is registered in the blockchain. If the policy condition(s) is satisfied, a subject entity may be signaled to perform the action corresponding to the CAR, and a state indication of performance of the action may also be registered in the blockchain.

  • Patent number: 4819866
Abstract: A dispensing and deposit machine comprises a container from which goods are dispensed or deposited. Instructions for a dispensing or deposit transaction are provided by a user from a vehicle. The user operates a data input, a dispensing and deposit component, which is mounted on a first carriage mechanism, controlled to move the component to a position adjacent a window of the vehicle. The goods to be dispensed or deposited are conveyed to the data input, dispensing and deposit component from the container and vice versa by a carriage device consisting of an enclosure movable by a second carriage mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4735289
Abstract: A dispensing apparatus is provided for use from an open window of a stationary vehicle. The position of the open window is optically or acoustically sensed and a data input and dispensing component is moved by a carriage mechanism in response to the sensed signals to a position adjacent to the open window. Input of data can also cause the component to be moved between this window position and an at rest position at which material may be collected and/or dispensed.
