  • Patent number: 6527352
Abstract: A storage element that includes a pair of side walls, a front header panel, a pair of doors, and apparatus that selectively conceals the pair of doors. Each door has an uppermost edge with a high point that is intermediate thereof. The front header panel has a pair of throughslots that provide clearance for the high points of the pair of doors when the pair of doors are slid therethrough and concealed. The apparatus includes a pair of blocks that fill the pair of throughslot in the front header panel when the pair of doors are closed so as to provide a clean look for the front header panel when the pair of doors are closed. The pair of blocks either move with the pair of doors or are hingedly attached to the front header panel and are responsive to movement of the pair of doors.

  • Patent number: 6129463
Abstract: A ribbon tensioning assembly includes a knob having a top wall, an internal raised portion attached to the top wall having a first helical camming surface and a second helical camming surface out of phase and disposed about a center point. A compression helix has a first end portion forming a first helical camming surface and a second helical camming surface for engaging first and second helical camming surfaces of the knob, compression helix having a second end portion for receiving a spring. A clutch engages a surface and connects to a spring. A spindle, attaching to a ribbon supply roll, secures the knob, the compression helix, the spring and the clutch in relative position such that turning the spindle causes frictional resistance between the clutch and the surface for creating increased tension in a ribbon dispensed from the supply roll.

  • Patent number: 4506927
Abstract: A convertible table, chair and bed combination is provided and consists of a first flat frame member having four legs, a second flat frame member and a third flat frame member having four legs. The second flat frame member is pivotally connected to top of one side of the first flat frame member and the bottom of one side of the third flat frame member so that by placing the third flat frame member in different positions a coffee table, a chair or a bed can be formed. A mattress is used in conjunction with the chair and the bed. A platform having a pair of pivotable legs is pivotally connected to the third flat frame member so that a coffee table can be formed.
