Abstract: A clamp to retain a block of material on a machining table including a body having a first face, a first front face oriented toward the machining table and the block of material when in use, a nose projecting relative to the first front face having a second front face parallel to the first front face, first and second edges connecting the first and second front faces, and at least one internally threaded hole opening at least partly at the level of the second front face with an axis forming a non-zero angle with the first face and the second front face, at least one grub screw screwed into the internally threaded hole having a pointed free end configured to penetrate into the block of material when in use when screwing in the grub screw, and a connecting system to demountably connect the clamp to the machining table.

Abstract: An emergency disconnection system for a fluid loading arm includes two valves, a collar which when closed secures the valves together and which when opened allows the valves to disconnect from each other, and an actuator which includes a single rod which is movable axially over a length of travel. A first jack moves the rod over a first portion of its travel to close the two valves and a second jack moves the rod over a remaining portion of its travel to open the collar. The first and second jacks are independently controllable and positioned substantially coaxially relative to each other.

Abstract: The invention concerns an emergency disconnection system, in particular for a fluid loading arm, of the kind having two valves which are coupled using a collar with controlled opening, an actuator (400) provided with a single rod (401), and single axis kinematics such that a movement of the rod (401) over a first portion of its travel closes the two valves and over the remainder of its course, opens the collar, characterized in that the actuator comprises means adapted to ensure the movement of the rod (401) over said two portions of travel and independently controlled over each of said portions, said means acting coaxially or substantially coaxially.
