  • Patent number: 11098469
Abstract: An adjustable spacer device for use in the space between a toilet and a wall and a method installing same is disclosed. The device includes a component module formed prior to installation within the wall space where it is then finally adjusted to fit within the wall space and to maintain a set separation distance between the toilet and the wall. The adjustable spacer device includes a cover that further stabilizes and secures the component module.

  • Patent number: 9517369
Abstract: Methods and/or apparatuses having a conduit with at least one length of conductive metal wire therein along with a length of non-conductive wire therein. The length of non-conductive wire includes a heat-expandable firestop insulator material. Upon reaching a pre-defined temperature corresponding to that of a fire, the non-conductive wire expands to fill a length of the conduit. Alternatively, the firestop insulator material may be disposed in the void within the conduit that exists outside of the conductors. The expansion of the material prevents the spread of fire along the length of the conduit.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5544027
Abstract: A light emitting diode display can be added to conventional protective helmets or incorporated in newly-manufactured helmets. LEDs increase wearer visibility during evening hours and provide decoration which appeals to the wearer and encourages use of the helmet. The LEDs are coupled to an internal power source, such as a battery in the helmet, or an external power source, such as a bicycle mounted generator, via an electric cord. The LEDs can be lit simultaneously or sequentially, the sequence being regulated by a computer chip. The timing and rate of sequence can be varied, thus making the helmet consistently interesting to the wearer and children in particular.

  • Patent number: 5477635
Abstract: A signaling apparatus indicates when a disposable animal trap has been triggered. The apparatus detects movement of the bail, indicating that the trap has been triggered. A visual or audible alarm is used to notify the user. This allows the trap to be reset if the bait is lost, or replaced if an animal has been trapped. Advantages of a signaling apparatus have now been extended to a disposable trap.
