  • Publication number: 20210298137
Abstract: A continuous mode conveyor cooking appliance utilizing hot air jet impingement and microwave energy for cooking prepared foods. The approach envisions a central microwave unit with a hot air jet impingement oven unit on each side of the microwave section and a conveyor system to carry the food items completely through the appliance from one end to the other and with the two hot air jet impingement ovens equipped with a designed combination of hot air jet impingement jets and solid pins to act as a microwave attenuation system to reduce microwave exposure to cooking personnel to completely safe levels.

  • Patent number: 8833276
Abstract: The present invention provides a burner system which uses waste fuels, especially waste plastic fuels. Burner size is minimized by having multiple combustion chambers concentrically located around a rotating screw conveyor. Heat efficiency is improved by having air passages disposed around the combustion chambers, thus preheating air for the combustion prior to its delivery to the combustion chambers, while simultaneously thermally insulating the combustion chambers against the environment. Waste fuel is transported from a fuel hopper to the combustion chambers by a rotating screw conveyor having the spiraling auger blades. Speed of screw conveyor rotation controls the consumption of waste fuel and, thus, the amount of thermal energy generated in the burner. The burner system includes an intelligent control system for controlling operation of the burner system, so that the burner system performs at optimum efficiency, safely and with minimum operator intervention.

  • Patent number: 8002447
Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a modular lamp assembly and a lighting fixture comprising a mounting plate and lamp holder affixed to the mounting plate. The lamp holder has flexible retaining members which extend away from the mounting plate. The retaining members have respective securing means to secure the modular lamp assembly at a fixed angle relative to the mounting plate. A flange on the lamp holder guides an electrical cord. This arrangement allows safe and convenient replacement of the modular lamp assembly. A skirt affixed to the mounting plate protects the lamp holder and modular lamp assembly and provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The lighting fixture may be readily mounting to hardscape or wooden construction. A strain relief for the electrical cord in the lighting fixture includes an elastic plug and stopper molded to the cord as a single body, and fits into a hole in the flange.
