  • Publication number: 20060281033
Abstract: A self-cleaning burner system incorporates an automatic clean cycle when the burner is started up. Cycles may be programmed for once-a-day cleaning cycle or for other desired interval. On start-up, the cycle routes a small amount of fuel to the burner for ignition inside the burner to clean the burner surfaces. The system incorporates an igniter for fast, routine, and safe ignition of the fuel. Thus, small amounts of debris that accumulate on a surface burner are automatically ignited when the burner is started, keeping the burner clean and operating at a high state of efficiency at all times. The self-cleaning burner system may be incorporated into a fryer or other heating appliance for reliable, efficient operation.

  • Publication number: 20060265827
Abstract: A headlight lens cleaning tool includes an internal cleaning pad and an external guider. The internal cleaning pad is configured to clean the interior surface of a sealed beam headlight lens without requiring removal of the headlight assembly from a vehicle or disassembly of the headlight assembly. The internal cleaning pad can be inserted into the headlight assembly by way of a headlamp bulb socket opening, and can include a core that is capable of being attracted by a magnetic field and a pliable covering to wipe clean the interior surface of the headlight lens. The external guider can include a permanent magnet, and can be placed against the exterior surface of the headlight lens in order to retain the cleaning pad against the interior surface and move the cleaning pad about the interior surface of the headlight lens to clean the interior surface of the headlight lens.

  • Publication number: 20060243019
Abstract: A pneumatic-hydraulic tube flaring tool includes a pneumatic actuator, a hydraulic actuator coupled to the pneumatic actuator, a ram coupled to the hydraulic actuator, and a plurality of die elements. A tube is clamped between the two die elements, which are then clamped inside a casing that is attached to an actuator housing. Compressed air is introduced into the pneumatic actuator on a pressure side of a pneumatic piston. The pneumatic piston actuates a hydraulic plunger in order to actuate a hydraulic piston which applies a force to the ram. The distal end of the ram and the aggregate end of the die elements are shaped to form a flared tube end. The ram impinges the end of the tube and plastically deforms the tube end between the ram and the die elements forming a flared tube end.
