Patent number: 8821237Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of gaming, in which a first player and a second player each submit a set of 2 completed gaming tables, a game board and a guess board, for competition against each other. Each gaming table has the same number of gaming cells and is populated by the respective player with a set of tokens. The populated game board of the first player is compared to the populated guess board of the second player to determine a score for either the first player or the second player, depending on the scoring methodology. Similarly, the populated game board of the second player is compared to the guess board of the first player to determine a score for the first player. Two gaming tables are compared against each other by comparing the values of tokens located in corresponding positions of the gaming tables that are being compared. An intermediate score is determined for each position on the gaming table. Those intermediate scores are then utilized to determine a score for a player.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2012Date of Patent: September 2, 2014Assignee: IPJ LimitedInventor: Anthony Robert Farah

Patent number: 8469803Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and system for distributing funds associated with a game. The method receives a plurality of requests to enter the game and processes each request to issue a corresponding ticket in the game. Each ticket is associated with a donation to a selected charity and a pledge amount. The method determines a total pool of funds derived from the tickets and determines a winning ticket of the game from the plurality of tickets issued in response to the requests. The method then distributes the total pool of funds between a charity pool and a prize pool, dependent upon the donations and the pledge amount associated with the winning ticket.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2012Date of Patent: June 25, 2013Inventors: Anthony Robert Farah, William Andrew King, Norman Brinkman

Patent number: 8393947Abstract: Disclosed herein is gaming utilizing a first gaming table (3010) and a predefined number of first tokens (3015), wherein said first gaming table (3010) includes a plurality of cells corresponding to said number of first tokens (3015), each cell of said first gaming table being associated with a unique identifier, and further wherein each of said first tokens has an associated value. In an embodiment, populating (1015) said first gaming table by storing each of said first tokens in one of said cells of said first gaming table; iteratively selecting (1020), by a first player, one of said cells of said first gaming table to reveal one of said first tokens stored therein, until each of said first tokens has been revealed; and utilizing said values associated with said first tokens to determine a score for said first player, based on an order in which said first tokens were revealed.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2011Date of Patent: March 12, 2013Inventor: Anthony Robert Farah
