Abstract: A device for safely storing or displaying a firearm that alerts its owner if the device or firearm are disturbed by unauthorized individuals and also provides its owner with quick access to the firearm when necessary. The device comprises a covered support member with a recessed volume generally configured to fit at least a portion of a firearm, actuators that activate an alarm if the device is uncovered or the firearm is removed without authorization, and a concealed de-activator.
