Abstract: A fishing rod holder device supports a fishing rod above a ground surface. The device includes a first shaft having a top end and a bottom end. A second shaft is provided having an upper end and a lower end. The second shaft is positioned in spaced parallel relationship relative to the first shaft. The bottom end of the first shaft and the lower end of the second shaft are configured for insertion into a ground surface for elevating the top end of the first shaft and the upper end of the second shaft above the ground surface. A support assembly is coupled to the top end of the first shaft and the upper end of the second shaft. The support assembly is configured for receiving a fishing rod and supporting the fishing rod above the ground surface.
