  • Patent number: 4443138
Abstract: This invention relates to a "T" shaped doweling jig and an attachable convertible clamp device for holding a work part. The doweling jig is comprised of a drill bit guide hole member and a base plate. The drill bit guide hole member is provided with at least one defined drill bit guide hole which is interchangeable with other guide hole members and provides a range of defined drill bit diameter guide holes. The base is provided with at least one alignment port hole, cut-outs and alignment indicies that correspond with said guide holes, and provides for the correct positioning and clamping of the doweling jig over the work part, and the subsequent passing of the drill bit through a guide hole in one direction to drill the first work part, and consecutively to pass the drill bit through the same guide hole in the opposite direction to drill a mirror image hole in a second work part.

  • Patent number: 4278068
Abstract: This invention relates to a device which is installed in series with the smoke stack of an oil burner whereby the configuration of the device provides the means to act as an aerodynamic check valve and to stabilize and isolate downdraft effects in the smoke stack of a burner caused by adverse or varying wind conditions so as to insure against subsequent faulty burner operation. Also, the use of this invention, and its objectives, has application in the smoke stack of other like heating entities or duct work requiring the movement or discharge of gases; some of which are wood burning stoves, coal burning stoves or gas burning heating equipment.

  • Patent number: 4214480
Abstract: This invention relates to an "Integrated Smoke Tester", a device for use in the sampling and smoke spot testing of the flue gases of an oil burner and consists of a sampling tube, a hand vacuum pump, valves, built-in storage filter paper dispenser, a knurled screw press pad and a paper severing feature. Said invention is to be used with roll strip material such as described in "Calibrated Oil Burner Filter Paper", U.S. Pat. No. 4,170,127 and provides a system for obtaining a paper record of the soot content and Smoke Spot Number of the flue gases of an oil burner.

  • Patent number: 4170127
Abstract: This invention relates to a calibrated oil burner filter paper on which is imprinted or otherwise processed a pre-selected geometrically shaped standard gray smoke scale and its integral use with an oil burner smoke tester and dispenser to provide a paper record for a quick and accurate visual analysis of the smoke density of a test smoke spot of the flue gases from burning distillate fuels, and also in the subsequent determination of the "Smoke Spot Number" of the flue gases by visually matching the shade of the test smoke spot lying in juxtaposition with the most like shade of a sector of the said imprint of a pre-selected shaped standard smoke test scale.
