  • Patent number: 7222664
Abstract: The heat exchanger plates have the section shown, with raised sections on the upper and lower faces in which run the flow pipes of one of the fluids. Notches are created on the longitudinal ends to allow these pipes to communicate, their supply and evacuation from a lateral face of the plate, whereas the other fluid enters and leaves via the longitudinal faces. The exchanger is therefore easier to make. The plates are manufactured by extrusions and only machined to create the notches.

  • Patent number: 7094379
Abstract: The invention relates to a microfluidic device for injecting series of mobile reaction chambers (102, 103) having non-miscible segmenters (101) in micro-channels (21 to 26), comprising: injection means (10) for injecting into microreaction channels alternatingly and in parallel liquid to form mobile reaction chambers and liquid for forming the segmenters; means for controlling the progression of one of the two liquids, applied to act on one zone (31) of each microchannel delimiting an injection volume of said liquid; the control means being able to cause stopping or slowing of the progression of said liquid over the zone of each microchannel by exerting an action based on a physico-chemical property of the liquid and said action not affecting the other liquid.

  • Publication number: 20040096359
Abstract: The invention concerns a device (1) for the tight and reversible connection of at least one capillary (13) to a micro-fluidic component (2). The device comprises a rigid part (11) comprising means of positioning the capillary (13) so that it can be connected to the micro-fluidic component (2), means for attaching and positioning the rigid part with respect to the micro-fluidic component, a flexible seal (16) placed between the rigid part (11) and the micro-fluidic component (2) and through which the capillary (13) passes, the flexible seal (16) and the rigid part (11) making the tightness of the connection when the rigid part (11) is pressed by the attachment means onto the micro-fluidic component (2).
