Abstract: A stethoscope for listening low frequency sounds of a cardiovascular system, that shifts infrasound spectrum produced by moving tissues into a conventional audio spectrum range, making them available for diagnostic purposes. Methods of reading internal infrasounds include ultrasonic tissue position measurements, reconstructing tissue sounds from the Doppler frequency shift, and using electrical cardio potentials as indirect indications of internal sounds.

Abstract: A method for preventing Distributed Denial Of Service (DDOS) attacks on telecommunication systems handling special number calls such as 911 emergency systems launched from compromised personal computers equipped with modems connected to public telephone networks is disclosed. For each initiated call, a probability that the originator of the call is a computer device rather then a human is determined. The call is then further handled using determined probability of the call originator.

Abstract: Computer peripheral touchless input device to control display cursor mark position by operator's finger located in the front of the display screen surface using stereovision input from two or more video cameras aimed along the screen surface. Cursor marker follows the operator's finger with a minimal spatial displacement providing a natural feeling of controlling marker position by the finger. The device further uses a translation velocity direction and an angular rotation speed of the finger to trigger equivalents of mouse buttons pressing and releasing events.

Abstract: In addition to widely spread bitmap types of images like JPEG or TIFF used to represent illustrations in World Wide Web pages this invention provides a simple way of creating vector, or outline type of images using existing features of Java-enabled browsers without introducing new image formats.
