Abstract: Visor for a protective helmet, having two retaining arms and two bearing devices for the retaining arms which are attached to a helmet shell of a helmet in order to pivot the visor between two end positions corresponding to an operational position and a parked position in which the visor is folded up and is disposed on the outer surface of the helmet shell. The visor is provided with a soft lip, preferably made from TPU or TPE, at the location where it comes into contact with the helmet shell in the end positions. When the visor is manually activated to pivot out of an end position, the visor is accelerated by resilient pretensioning in the direction of the other end position until the lip is in contact with the helmet shell substantially without recoil. The lip damps the movement momentum of the visor and additionally has a sealing function.

Abstract: Protective glasses include a curved lens panel for protecting the eyes. Two side pieces have an inner end articulated on a helmet and an outer end articulated on the lens panel. The glasses are pivotable from a protective position to a stowed position. Each side piece includes a glasses arm and a glasses-carrying arm. The glasses arms are curved in the direction of the lens panel and adjoin the lens panel tangentially. The glasses arms have axes of articulation that are not aligned with one another. In the stowed position, the protective glasses are in a helmet and can be moved into, and out of, the stowed position using one hand, without length of the side pieces or tilt of the lens panel in relation to the side pieces being changed. One-handed actuation of the glasses is very advantageous in forestry work, in the industrial sector or for climbing purposes.

Abstract: A forehead band attaches to a head band of an interior fitting assembly of a protective helmet is described. The forehead band includes a strip-shaped support which is provided with a holder for removably fixing the forehead band to the head band. The support is covered with a sweat-absorbing overlay. The holder has tubular supporting connection pieces integrally formed on the support and designed to engage into openings of the head band. The overlay has complementary longitudinal edges and is provided with openings for releasably receiving the supporting connection pieces. The overlay is washable with or without the support. The entire forehead band is designed so that the overlay or its support or both can be readily replaced.

Abstract: A belt fastener for detachably connecting two belt ends has a housing and a plug, which can be clipped into the housing. The belt fastener can be a safety fastener opening if a predetermined tensile load acts on the belt ends. A separate finger flap is hinged to a front end of the plug for clipping it into the housing. The finger flap preloaded outwards in direction away from the plug by a separate spring. The finger flap can be brought in abutment with a stop surface of the housing by means of a stop surface opposite of the attachment point. Both stop surfaces are tilted forward by an angle of inclination (?) of >0°, particularly of 20°. In addition, two stop surfaces can be convexly or concavely curved.
