Abstract: An identification label including a carrier that attaches to a manufactured good and holds identification information. The carrier attaches in such a way that it is difficult to remove when the manufactured good is closed, or operational, but can be removed with or without the use of a tool when the manufactured good is opened for service. The carrier can be mounted on a less visible surface of the chassis, in plain sight, or can be moved into a position where it is not visible during normal use, but readily available when needed by pulling it out, rotating it out or flipping it out.

Abstract: A remote control device is provided with a rotatably mounted door member. The device has a main body with two, three, or more sides adapted for having selection buttons coupled therewith. The door member covers the selection buttons for the sides not in use so that the user can grasp the device or set the device on a surface without inadvertent actuation of the selection buttons. The remote control device also has a locking mechanism for preventing access to certain selection buttons on certain side surfaces.

Abstract: A printer includes a housing which has a user access surface. Attached to the housing is a printer which includes a paper path. The printer also includes a paper input tray and a paper output tray. Both the paper trays are accessible from the user access surface. The user access surface also has an access panel within the user access surface. The paper path is positioned within the housing so that it is accessible through the access panel. The printer cartridges which contain the material used to make an image on the paper, such as a toner cartridge for use with a laser printer or one or more ink wells for use with an ink jet printer, are also positioned within the housing of the printer so as to be near the user access surface. The printer cartridges are accessible through the access panel. Optionally, the printer cartridges could also be accessed through a special panel in the user access surface.
