Abstract: A jewelry safety claps includes a hook member with a hook disposed thereon. A housing member includes a hole formed thereon for receiving the hook and to be selectively disengageable from the hook. At least one foot is disposed in the housing member and is capable of moving between a first position corresponding to retraction within the housing member and a second position corresponding to extending outside of the housing member. A foot receiving portion disposed on the hook member for receiving the foot and selectively retaining the foot therein prevents disengagement of the hook member from the housing member.

Abstract: A key ring being less susceptible to deformation and accidental opening is provided. The key ring includes a base having a slot therein to define a plate between a first resilient shoulder and a second resilient shoulder. Each shoulder is torsionally displaceable with respect to the base. A first arm extends from the first resilient shoulder while a second arm extends from the second resilient shoulder. The arms overlap to form a loop.

Abstract: An earring attachable to an earlobe, that varies the gripping pressure applied to the earlobe is provided. A base pivotally supports a clasp so that the clasp grips the ear between the base and the clasp. A pressure controller is slidably mounted on a center prong of the clasp so that by sliding the pressure controller, the gripping pressure of the clasp may be decreased or increased as desired.

Abstract: A jewelry clasp in which a blade member is captured in a case member by a latch normally located in a latched position to secure the blade member in the case member, the latch being displaceable along a first direction in response to movement of the blade member into the case member for latching purposes and displaceable along a second direction transverse to the first direction, in response to a selectively moved actuator, for unlatching purposes, to selectively release the blade member from the case member, a first spring biases the latch along the first direction and a second spring biases the latch along the second direction for maintaining the latch in the latched position, and a safety lock is movable selectively from an unlocked position into a locked position for precluding inadvertent unlatching, while permitting latching independent of the position of the safety lock.

Abstract: A clasp includes first and second clasp members which are coupled and uncoupled by complementary pairs of latch members, one of which pairs of latch members is mounted for pivotal movement in response to engagement with the other pair of latch members upon coupling of the clasp members and in response to the selective rotation of an operator for disengagement of the complementary latch members upon uncoupling of the clasp members.
