Patent number: 9036389Abstract: A system for controlling photovoltaic electricity production equipment having photovoltaic modules each equipped with a DC/DC microconverter connected to a DC bus, a DC bus manager, and an inverter for converting the direct current from the photovoltaic panels into alternative current intended for an electrical distribution network. Power is injected into the DC bus when the voltage of the DC bus is less than a minimum voltage until the minimum voltage is reached. Each of the microconverters injects a maximum power from the photovoltaic modules into the DC bus when the voltage of the DC bus is between a first voltage and a second voltage. The injecting of power from the photovoltaic modules into the DC bus is stopped when the voltage of the DC bus is less than a low threshold voltage or greater than a high threshold voltage.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2012Date of Patent: May 19, 2015Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SASInventors: Jacques Ecrabey, Christian Petit, Yves Jeanjean, Antonio Almeida

Patent number: 7499296Abstract: An electric power converter with a control device that comprises a processing unit receives control signals and sends modulated signals to inverter stages of the electric power converter. The control device also controls a common stage of the electronic power converter, which is connected between power lines and a common neutral connection. The signals to the common stage are outputted based on inputs from a modulation signal and a reference voltage signal.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2005Date of Patent: March 3, 2009Assignee: MGE UPS SystemsInventors: Philippe Baudesson, François Bouvet, Antonio Almeida, Jean Noel Fiorina

Publication number: 20080272327Abstract: The present invention consists of an inventive process for manufacturing a PTFE filament (7) of the type comprising steps of extrusion, and, subsequently, stretching, heating and cutting, and an inventive PTFE filament obtained by this process, are provided. The process of the present invention comprises the following steps prior to extrusion providing a recipient, which preferably consists of a cylinder (1) of pre-form machine, having rigid side walls; arranging a first mixture (A) containing PTFE filler, and a second mixture (B) containing PTFE, inside the recipient, side by side and aligned with the side walls; and pressing the first and second mixtures in a direction parallel to the side walls to form a billet (5) in which the first and second mixtures (A, B) have different coefficients of friction.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 24, 2003Publication date: November 6, 2008Applicant: MANEGRO ADMINISTRACAO E PARTICIPACOES LTDA.Inventor: Jose Antonio Almeida Neto

Publication number: 20060077701Abstract: The control device of an electric power converter comprises a control device controlling turn-on of semi-conductor legs. The converter comprises a rectifier to supply a DC voltage on intermediate lines, a voltage filter connected on the intermediate lines, an inverter connected between said intermediate lines and an output, and a common neutral connection. The control device comprises a processing unit to supply modulation signals of control signals of said inverter legs. The control device controls a common leg comprising electronic power components connected between said intermediate lines and the common neutral connection. The processing unit controls said common leg according to a modulation signal of said common leg determined with a reference voltage setpoint.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 7, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Applicant: MGE UPS SYSTEMInventors: Philippe Baudesson, Francois Bouvet, Antonio Almeida, Jean Fiorina
