  • Publication number: 20240179016
Abstract: A motion tracker receives a data connection request from, or transmits the data connection request to, a computing device. The motion tracker generates a challenge according to a challenge-response authentication protocol. The challenge is at least partially associated with the data connection request or the computing device. The challenge is transmitted from the motion tracker to the computing device. The motion tracker receives a response to the challenge from the computing device. The response to the challenge is provided to the computing device by an authentication device communicatively coupled to the computing device. The motion tracker receives one or more instructions for execution by the motion tracker from the computing device. The motion tracker processes the response based on the challenge-response authentication protocol to determine that the response is authentic. • Publication number: 20240133268
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for applying scale inhibitor to completion fluids during injectivity test operations. Said method takes advantage of the completion fluid to inhibit scaling in the reservoir by filling the porous spaces of the reservoir rock with the inhibited completion fluid. When the well is put into production, this inhibited fluid positioned inside the reservoir will be produced together with the oil and will inhibit the formation of scale inside the reservoir and on production equipment.

  • Publication number: 20230403575
Abstract: A method (50) and apparatus (60) for quantifying similarities between first and second cells (12a, 12b) in a mobile communications network (10) is provided. In particular, for each of the first cell and the second cell, a network node (60) receives input parameters, and based on those parameters, determines (54) respective sets of features for the cell. Each respective set of features defines a cell configuration and a coverage area morphology for the cell. So determined, a level of similarity between the first and second cells can be determined (56) based on their respective sets of features.

  • Patent number: 11834927
Abstract: This invention contains a method focused on increasing the water saturation of the reservoir by injecting industrial water into the well via SPU, thus diluting the concentration of salts, such as halite (sodium chloride). When the oil passes through the gas lift mandrel, this dilution will allow a part of the BSW water to evaporate, however, the amount of water that will remain in the oil will be sufficient to keep the salts in solution, thus scale formation will not occur and therefore no loss of production will occur. One of the focus areas of the method of this invention are high-temperature and low-BSW production reservoir wells. The solution of this invention minimizes the frequency of well treatments, avoiding loss of production due to well stoppage. The technical advantages of the method are increased reliability for SPU, increased NPV of operations and increased safety due to the reduction of operations with participation of the stimulation vessel.

  • Publication number: 20230379225
Abstract: A method and apparatus extend existing cell parameter optimization techniques so that they can be used in cases where different cells are controlled by the same control element. Particularly, a coordination agent (46) receives an intermediate control decision for controlling a control element (48) shared by the plurality of cells (14). The coordination agent consolidates each of the received intermediate decisions into a single consolidated control decision, and sends the consolidated control decision to the shared control element. The control element then controls a network element (26) in each of the cells using the same consolidated control decision.

  • Publication number: 20230224055
Abstract: Deviations of signal strengths in a first frequency band from signal strengths in at least one second frequency band are predicted based on a trained machine-learning model (350?). At least one source signal strength map is obtained. The at least one source signal strength map describes signal strengths in the at least one second frequency band for a coverage area of the wireless communication network. Based on the at least one source signal strength map and the predicted deviations of signal strengths, at least one target signal strength map describing signal propagation in the first frequency band for the coverage area is determined.

  • Publication number: 20230193118
Abstract: The invention addresses to a method of applying a formulation obtained from a mixture of phosphonic salts and acids (R1—P(OR2) (OR3)), sulfonic acids (R—SO3H) and/or carboxylic acids (R—COOH). The pH of this formulation must be less than 3.5, preferably between 2.0 and 3.5. The formulation can be manufactured by dilution in saline fluid at the WSSV facility, in product compatible tanks on the rig or offshore platform or stimulation boat.
