  • Patent number: 9497780
Abstract: A method of synchronizing transmission of signals between two nodes in a network that includes at least another cooperating node. After reception of a clear-to-code signal (CTC) from the one node (B), broadcasting a clear-to-send signal (CTS), which contains at least a timing indication, from the cooperating node (C) to the first node (A) and the second node (B). After reception of the clear-to-send signal (CTS) by the first and second nodes (A,B), a first signal (S1) and a second signal (S2) are transmitted, via the cooperating node (C), respectively from the first node (A) to the second node (B) and from the second node (B) to the first node (A) during at least a common time period depending on the timing indication.

  • Patent number: 9432146
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for communication between nodes in a wireless network further comprising a router node (2), comprising : a first (1) and second (3) transmitting nodes sending a first (a(t)) and second (b(t))data signals to be respectively transmitted to a first (4) and second (5) receiving nodes, the router node (2) receiving a mixed signal (MDATA[a,b](t)) resulting from interference of the first (a(t)) and second (b(t)) data signals, and sending respectively to the first (4) and second (5) receiving nodes a first and second router analog acknowledgment signals comprising information representative of the hearing duration during which the mixed signal has been received by the router node, the router node (2) sending the mixed signal(MDATA[a,b](t)) to the first (4) and the second (5) receiving nodes, the first (4) and second (5) receiving nodes decoding the mixed signal, based on the respective router analog acknowledgment signals.

  • Patent number: 8619644
Abstract: A method and apparatus make use of a multiple receiver frame aggregation for creating data units so that they require acknowledgment of a single packet data unit by a group of several intended receivers. A multi-hop topology information regarding the neighborhood of a destination node can be used to derive the intended receivers which acknowledge a packet transmission besides the primary destination node of the packet.

  • Publication number: 20120106436
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of synchronising transmission of signals between two nodes in a network comprising at least another cooperating node. The invention consists in, after reception of a clear-to-code signal (CTC) from the one node (B), broadcasting (105) a clear-to-send signal (CTS), which contains at least a timing indication, from the cooperating node (C) to the first node (A) and the second node (B). After reception of the clear-to-send signal (CTS) by the first and second nodes (A, B), a first signal (S1) and a second signal (S2) are transmitted (107), via the cooperating node (C), respectively from the first node (A) to the second node (B) and from the second node (B) to the first node (A) during at least a common time period depending on the timing indication.

  • Publication number: 20100329227
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus which make use of a multiple receiver (MR) frame aggregation for creating data units so that they require acknowledgment of a single packet data unit by a group of several intended receivers. A multi-hop topology information regarding the neighborhood of a destination node can be used to derive the intended receivers which acknowledge a packet transmission besides the primary destination node of the packet.
