  • Patent number: 9546549
Abstract: Ventilation system (1) of a tunnel or covered road section (2), in which the tunnel (2) comprises at least a first tunnel tube or carriageway (11; 11, 12) with a first entrance (3; 3, 5) and a first exit (4; 4, 6) for traffic (T1; T1, T2) through the at least first tunnel tube (11), and the ventilation system (1) is equipped for: —the production of a blind flow or recirculation flow of air inside the at least first tunnel tube during use, and —the controlled discharge of air from the blind flow or recirculation flow at the entrance and/or exit of the at least first tunnel tube.

  • Patent number: 8360163
Abstract: Fire-extinguishing system in an air filter system has an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber with a filter wall therebetween. The system includes a first and second sensor, a first and second fire extinguisher, and a control unit, the first sensor and the first extinguisher being disposed in the inlet chamber, the second extinguisher in an outlet chamber and the second sensor being disposed in an outlet of the outlet chamber. The control unit is connected to the first and second sensors, and to the first and second extinguishers. The control unit records a first and second fire-detection signal in the inlet chamber and the outlet, respectively; compares the first and second signals to an associated threshold value for fire; determines at which location within the inlet and outlet chamber the fire is burning, depending on the comparison; selects which of the first and at least one second extinguisher is located near the determined position, and activates one or more selected extinguishers.

  • Patent number: 7964027
Abstract: System for extracting vapor and particulates from a flow of at least an air stream having vapor and particulates, the system having a funnel and a filter unit; an opening of the funnel for receiving the flow of the air stream; an outlet of the funnel connected to an inlet of the filter unit, the inlet receiving the air stream. The filter unit includes a housing, a first and a second filter, a ventilation unit and a filter unit outlet; the housing having a first, second and third chamber; the first and second chambers being separated by the first filter, the second and third chambers being separated by the second filter; the inlet being located in the first chamber; the ventilation unit being located between the third chamber and the outlet and in use for creating an underpressure in the first, second and third chambers.
