  • Publication number: 20230210268
Abstract: Disclosed are bed systems with a foundation having first and second side rails opposite each other and a pocket integrated into an exterior side of at least the first side rail at a distance from a head section of a mattress that is less than a distance from a foot section of the mattress. The pocket can include an inner pocket smaller than the pocket and positioned inside the first pocket. The pocket can include a charging port housing and a charging port supported by the charging port housing. The charging port can be a USB and/or USB-C port. The first side rail can also include a wireless charger and transmitter (e.g., induction charger) integrated therein for providing induction charging to a user device placed inside the pocket. The wireless charger and transmitter can be integrated into a structure of the first side rail at a location opposite the pocket.

  • Publication number: 20230210275
Abstract: Described are bed systems including a docking structure defining a first recess and a second recess, a remote to dock into the first recess, and a light integrated into the second recess. The light can move between a docked configuration and an extended configuration. The light can extend out from the second recess and rotate when in the extended configuration. The second recess is aligned with and positioned above the first recess. The first recess has a same width as the second recess, and the first recess has a length substantially longer than the second recess. The remote is oblong and curved at opposite ends. A distal end of the light is oblong-shaped, and the light includes at least one button along a lateral side of the light for turning the light on and off.

  • Publication number: 20220192388
Abstract: A bed system can have an adjustable foundation and a user interface having at least one adjustment bar. The user interface can be communicatively coupled to an actuation system of the adjustable foundation such that raising a foot portion of the at least one adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to raise a foot section of the adjustable foundation, raising a head portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to raise a head section of the adjustable foundation, lowering the foot portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to lower the foot section of the adjustable foundation, and lowering the head portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to lower the head section of the adjustable foundation.

  • Patent number: 10640393
Abstract: A water treatment apparatus that includes: at least one module which operatively and selectively treats one or both of an original household hot water received from the household hot water line and water flowing through the module and treats cold water received from an original household cold water line that flows through; a process control unit whereby a user selects a desired treatment option for the water flowing through the apparatus to be dispensed to the user; one or more plumbing connections which operatively divert the original household hot and cold water flow to the user selected water treatment module so as to dispense to the user the selected treated water; and one or more valves which operatively cooperate with the process control unit to direct the water flow within the apparatus so as to provide the user with the selected treated water.

  • Patent number: 7079679
Abstract: In an image processing system, a subject object 210 is placed on top of an object support 220 on a calibration object 34 having a known pattern of features thereon. Images recorded at different positions and orientations are processed to generate a three-dimensional computer model of the subject object alone or the subject object together with the calibration object. By imaging the subject object 210 on an object support instead of placing it directly on the calibration object, the user is provided with flexibility in the selection of the pattern and color of the calibration and the selection of the imaging positions and orientations. By providing an object support 220 having a top surface on which the subject object 210 sits which does not protrude from beneath the base of the subject object 210, the user is provided with flexibility in the selection of lighting conditions.
