  • Publication number: 20130127675
Abstract: A sensor for measuring electromagnetic power in a dielectric waveguide structure includes an antenna element for detecting heating caused by electromagnetic power absorbed into the antenna element. A membrane forming at least partially a thermally insulating layer is implemented on a surface of the dielectric waveguide structure being a substrate for the sensor. The antenna element is implemented on a surface of the membrane and the antenna element is at least partially thermally insulated with a cavity from the substrate. A method for fabricating the sensor is also described.

  • Patent number: 5926147
Abstract: An antenna design includes a plurality of radiating elements which radiate electro-magnetic energy, and feeders which feed the electromagnetic energy to the radiating elements. The feeders have a supply network substantially at the same level in the antenna thickness direction. In order to achieve a small antenna with adequate properties for radio link usage, the radiating elements are arranged next to the supply network in the thickness direction and include box horn antennas which have a step, characteristic of a box horn, in the plane of the magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 5670965
Abstract: A compact antenna test range for performing antenna and radar cross-section measurements has a transmitter for transmitting an electromagnetic wavefront and at least one radio frequency hologram for receiving the wavefront, converting the wavefront into a plane wave, and passing on the plane wave at an oblique angle with respect to a central axis of the hologram for illuminating a piece to be tested.
