The selectable objects in the second part are caused to be displayed on the graphical user interface as a flow of selectable objects such that, while the selectable objects flow on the graphical user interface, at least one selectable object from the first part is moved to the second part and at least one selectable object from the second part is removed from the second part.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method and an apparatus performing the method. In the method a change to a background download enabled state is detected at a mobile node. The mobile node retrieves at least one content package from a remote node and detects a change to a browsing mode. The mobile node indicates the existence of at least one content package on a display to the user and receiving an indication via a remote control unit of a selection of a content package by the user. In response, the mobile node presents content from at least one file in the content package on the display, receives an indication via the remote control unit of a selection of a hyperlink in the content package and downloads a content item corresponding to the hyperlink.

A remote procedure call of a network server is invoked to determine the media profile identifiers. Sample portions of the digital media objects are accessed, and the sample portions are usable to assign media profile identifiers to the respective digital media objects. The sample portions of the digital media objects are sent to the network server. In response to invoking the remote procedure call, the media server device receives the media profile identifiers assigned to the sample portions from the network server. The media profile identifiers are assigned to the digital media objects at the media server device based on the assignment of the media profile identifiers to the sample portions.

Abstract: Interaction with network capable input device involves advertising, from a mobile device coupled to an Internet Protocol (IP) network, a user input service via an ad-hoc peer-to-peer protocol of the IP network. The user input service is established with a controlled device via the ad-hoc, peer-to-peer protocol. User input events are detected at the mobile device, and the user input events are provided to the controlled device in accordance with parameters of the established user input service.
