  • Patent number: 9283733
Abstract: A transparent window pane including an electrically heating coating that extends over a large part of the surface of the window pane, or over its field of vision, and which is electrically connected to at least two busbars of low electrical resistance, such that, after an electrical supply voltage has been applied to the busbars, an electrical current flows in a heating field formed by the coating. Further, a heating element includes conducting elements of low electrical resistance, or printed conducting tracks and/or wires, in a zone of the surface not heated by the coating, which preferably lies on the edge of the transparent window pane and on the same face as the coating.

  • Patent number: 8431867
Abstract: A transparent windowpane including a resistive heating coating that extends over a substantial part of a surface of the windowpane, and over a main field of view, and which is electrically connected, at least indirectly, with at least two busbars such that, when a power supply voltage is applied between the two busbars, a current flows between the busbars, heating a heating field in the heating coating. The heating field includes at least one semiresistive region in direct contact with at least one busbar, and including conducting strands in a form of thin longitudinal wires, the ohmic resistance of which is less than that of the heating coating. At least one conducting strand has a transverse conducting structure in electrical contact with the semiresistive region.

  • Publication number: 20110268941
Abstract: A process for manufacturing at least one substrate, especially transparent glass substrates, each provided with a thin-film multilayer comprising an alternation of “n” metallic functional layers especially of functional layers based on silver or a metal alloy containing silver, and of “(n+1)” antireflection coatings, with n being an integer ?3, each antireflection coating comprising at least one antireflection layer, so that each functional layer is positioned between two antireflection coatings, said thin-film multilayer being deposited by a vacuum technique, said multilayer being such that the thicknesses of two functional layers at least are different and the thicknesses of the functional layers have a symmetry within the multilayer relative to the center of the multilayer.

  • Publication number: 20080193686
Abstract: The invention relates to laminated glazing intended to close a window opening and consisting of an external solid pane and an internal solid pane, which are joined together by means of an interlayer. A multilayer system partially transparent to visible radiation is placed on the inside of the laminated glazing. The laminated glazing according to the invention is characterized in that the panes are tinted and absorb some of the infrared radiation, and in that the multilayer system selectively reflects and/or absorbs the infrared radiation. The laminated glazing is particularly suitable for being used as side windows, tail gate or sunroof in vehicles or aircraft.
