  • Publication number: 20220231981
Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which may be stored instruction that when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to receive notification of a first type and determine whether other notifications of the first type were previously received. In some examples, a local importance score and a global importance score may be accessed, and based on wether other notifications of the first type were previously received, a weighted local importance score, a weighted global importance score, or both may be determined. In some examples, a weighted importance score may be determined based on the local importance score or the weighted local importance score and the global importance score or the weighted global importance score. In some examples, a timing at which the notification is output may be determined based on whether the weighted importance score is greater than a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11270472
Abstract: In some examples, a computing device can define a marked area of an image of analog imagery captured by the computing device, separate the analog imagery of the image from a background of the image, and generate a small vector image that includes the analog imagery of the image.

  • Patent number: 10656624
Abstract: According to an example, an apparatus may include a hardware processor that is to access a first scanned image, in which the first scanned image corresponds to a scanned first feature of a three-dimensional (3D) object, perform a search for models matching the 3D object based upon the first scanned image, identify, from the search, a first set of candidate models, identify, from the first set of candidate models, a general identity of the 3D object, determine, based upon the identified general identity of the 3D object, a second feature of the 3D object that is to be scanned, and output an instruction to obtain a second scanned image of the determined second feature of the 3D object.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: May 19, 2020
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.

  • Patent number: 10082992
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to providing print ready documents. In some implementations, a computing device: receives, from a client device, a request for a print-ready document, the request specifying an electronic document for which the print-ready document is to be provided; selects a particular extraction module from a plurality of extraction modules for the electronic document, the selection being based on prior user feedback received from a plurality of client devices, the prior user feedback indicating a measure of quality of print-ready documents created for the electronic document using content extracted from the web page by the particular extraction module; and provides data specifying the particular extraction module to a print service that causes presentation of the print-ready document at the client device, the print-ready document including content extracted from the electronic document by the particular extraction module.
