    Abstract: A tent door which opens and closes in a manner similar to that of a regular house door, yet is in keeping with the requirements for mobility of being light-weight and easily taken apart or reassembled. Such a door being comprised of a fabric panel (54), supported by a rigid frame (22). The frame of this door panel is hinged to a similar frame (20) attached to the perimeter of a cutout opening (56) in the tent wall, against which the door closes. A latch secures the door and allows it to be released for opening by means of a single action which can be performed using just one hand. These are all takedown assemblies connected with manually operated fasteners and employing the lightest or smallest possible components.
