  • Patent number: 9161868
Abstract: The use of a decolorizing composition for removing colored substances from aqueous fluids (e.g., colored pigments, blood-containing fluids, etc.) is provided. The decolorizing composition contains one or more inorganic salts. In one embodiment, for example, the composition contains a mixture of sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) and monopotassium phosphate (KH2PO4). The decolorizing composition may be placed in fluid communication with an absorbent core, a liquid-permeable layer, or combinations thereof, in an absorbent article to help decolorize blood-containing fluids (e.g., menses) exuded from the body.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 31, 2010
Date of Patent: October 20, 2015
    Assignee: Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc.
Inventors: Francesca Corbellini, Eckhard Purkner, Elisabeth Baumgarten, Hans Bouten, Arndt Scheidgen, Franz Aschenbrenner, Doohong Kim, Priscilla Eng Choo Goh
  • Patent number: 8821590
Abstract: Liquid hydrous laundry treatment agent containing hydrogen peroxide and omega-6 fatty acid, and optionally further ingredients compatible with said components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 5, 2010
Date of Patent: September 2, 2014
Assignee: Henkel AG & Co. KGaA

  • Patent number: 7971284
Abstract: The invention relates to a flushing water guiding arrangement (1) for a toilet bowl (5) or similar, comprising a housing which can be inserted into the edge (4) of the toilet bowl, an inlet (6), at least one outlet (7, 8, 10) and a dispensing device (11) which is used to dispense at least one liquid active substance as a supplement to the flushing water. The dispensing device (11) comprises at least one container (12) which is used to receive the active substance and at least one dispensing opening (13) which is arranged between the inlet (6) and the outlet (J, 8, 10). The flushing water guiding arrangement is characterized in that low pressure is set in the container (12) when the active substance is dispensed and that, essentially, only air reaches into the container (12) which is suctioned by the low pressure in the container (12).
