Patent number: 7831281Abstract: An interface is for connecting a first electronic component to a network of a plurality of electronic components. The first electronic component is implemented as a telecommunication terminal. A second electronic component connected to the network is implemented as a reproduction or processing device for data of the telecommunication terminal. The interface transmits the data between the reproduction or processing device and the telecommunication terminal.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2002Date of Patent: November 9, 2010Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Wolfgang Kramp, Arndt Wagner, Thomas Spichale

Publication number: 20090015973Abstract: A residual current protective circuit is integrated into a vehicle electrical system, in particular on the high-voltage side of a multiple-voltage vehicle electrical system, and operates without current measurement. The residual current is determined in an evaluation logic system by evaluating two voltages. These two voltages are voltages that drop at two high-impedance resistors, each of which being connected to ground between a connection between the battery and the generator. If the evaluation logic system detects a residual current, it opens both connections between the battery and the generator or the vehicle electrical system. In conjunction with a dual-voltage vehicle electrical system having two sub-systems connected by a DC voltage converter, a voltage-dependent circuit may be connected in parallel to the DC voltage converter, the parallel circuit grounding the high-voltage side in the event of a fault.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2005Publication date: January 15, 2009Applicant: ROBERT BOSCH GMBHInventors: Martin Trunk, Arndt Wagner

Patent number: 6340232Abstract: An illumination unit for planar illumination is described. The illumination unit includes a light source and a waveguide plate, the waveguide plate being provided with mounting possibilities for the light source, various optical filters, electronics boards, and a liquid-crystal cell.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 1999Date of Patent: January 22, 2002Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Peter Knoll, Gunther Haas, Arndt Wagner

Patent number: 6330386Abstract: A backlighting unit for planar and homogeneous illumination has a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp that is mounted one narrow side of a waveguide plate. The light emitted from the backlighting unit is emitted from one of the two large surfaces of the waveguide plate. The light is deflected from one narrow side to one large surface by prisms which are also mounted on one large surface. To homogenize the emitted light, the prisms are arranged in irregular fashion. Homogenization is advantageous in particular if an L-shaped or U-shaped lamp, which illuminates several narrow sides of the waveguide plate, is used as the lamp.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1999Date of Patent: December 11, 2001Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Arndt Wagner, Gunther Haas
