  • Patent number: 11609171
Abstract: A qualification process for a sample to be examined by means of cryo-electron microscopy. The, sample (12) is applied to a sample carrier (10) provided for cryo-electron microscopy and subsequently the sample (12) arranged on the sample carrier is examined by means of dynamic light scattering. The particle size distribution within the sample (12) is determined by means of the dynamic light scattering. Further, a sample holder designed to carry out the qualification process.

  • Patent number: 11280115
Abstract: A device for mechanically preventing the automatic opening of a vehicle door in the event of an object acting thereon includes a mounting clip fixed to an outer door part for an outer door handle. The mounting clip has a door opening mechanism having a balancing mass which is adjustably supported on the mounting clip and operatively connected to the outer door handle and can also be moved from a first operating position into a second operating position and back. A force introduction and locking element is associated with the balancing mass. A movement of the balancing mass from the first operating position into the second operating position can be prevented, limited, and/or reversed by way of the element. When viewed in the direction of movement of the bar the force introduction and locking element is advantageously supported against a door lock housing that is fastened to the vehicle door.

  • Patent number: 11248400
Abstract: A door handle device for a door of a motor vehicle, with a bearing bracket attachable/attached to the door, with a door handle pivotally mounted on the bearing bracket, with an unlocking device that connects the door handle to the door lock so as to unlock the door lock upon actuation of the door handle, and with a blocking element, which is disposed on the bearing bracket in a release position releasing the unlocking device. The blocking element is at least partly displaceable into a blocking position preventing the unlocking device from unlocking so as to prevent opening of the door in an accident-related deformation of the door. It is provided that the blocking element is designed to be plastically and/or elastically deformable at least in sections such that the blocking element is movable into the blocking position at least in sections in the direction of the bearing bracket.

  • Patent number: 9284659
Abstract: A method for crystallizing a substance dissolved in a solvent, including the following steps: introducing a solvent volume containing the substance into a chamber having a preset temperature, humidity, and gas composition, adding a predetermined volume of a precipitant to the solvent volume containing the substance, allowing the solvent to evaporate while simultaneously observing structural changes in the solvent volume containing the substance and the precipitant by means of dynamic light scattering, detecting weight changes and determining the molarities, making an association with the location in the phase diagram on the basis of the DLS measurement and the results of the molarity determination, allowing a predetermined number of crystal nuclei to form by adding solvent or adding precipitant, putting the solvent volume containing the substance and the precipitant into a metastable state by adding solvent and/or protein solution or by allowing the concentration of the dissolved substance to decrease by allo
